This was a great tutorial! One of my kids broke that same handle and I was able to fix it myself after following your directions. Thank you! I will say, I did everything as instructed and the door handle would not open from the outside. It isn’t shown or mentioned in the video but there is a red plastic piece inside the door after you drop the lock down that once you put the lock back up in place to screw in needs to straddle a piece inside the door to make it function properly. It’s hard to explain but I could feel it in there and clicked that red plastic part to straddle part of the locking component. It worked after that.

there is a screw its in the cup holder on ther first piece you take out you made me rip it out saying there aint no bolts holding it in

Maybe do more research before diving in to take stuff apart. Sounds like you have an 03-05 interior. My Z is an 07 and I don’t have a screw in the cup holder

So at the time I did this I couldn’t find aftermarket upgraded fans that fit the HR so I got new oem ones.

Bout to remove my panel to reset my window motor. That electrical tape method is definitely going to be used now and many times after for other projects🙌🏼
