Stopped watching at 6:26. This guy is a freaking cry baby. Doing car reviews is an unbiased review giving good and bad remarks. This is no review. This is a total hate video that shows what kind of character the person in this video is. An unkind person that if I ever met him I'd probably throw up in his face. Good bye idiot.

Owned a 2010. 3.5 for 10 years. Only 1 visit to the shop for a key socket replacement. The car was very fast. Head to head with mustang 5.0, Blew the doors off chevy v6 cameros. Got 30 hwy. Just got the awd 3.6 last call. 0 to 60 in 5. At 130 it's at half pedal and the other half is pretty scary. Mileage is the same. I travel a lot. Been driving lots of high quality imports. They feel like roller skates . No meat.

After watching the Car Wizard's video, I bought one with the 3.5 L engine. I'm in Australia and bought a 2006 Honda Legend which is same as Acura RL with 90 000 kms (56 000 Miles. Very nice to drive and the technology waaay ahead of its time in areas. My one gripe is the long gearing. Shorter gearing would have livened it up.

This car is as fast as MANY 1960 small block muscle cars of the 1960's. Quarter mile times 14.5 @93 MPH was considered pretty respectable and this IS what this car is capable of. So your statement of hardly being able to get out of its way is VERY MISTAKEN. I am an old dragracer from the late 60's and early 70's and this car is anything but slow. Do your research on the muscle cars of the 1960's so you have an understanding of what fast was.
@themockalove
@themockalove 5 ай бұрын
You're not wrong. There are lots of comparisons of modern (even the Corolla, CRV and some vans) cars and old performance cars. Generally, cars of today are much quicker than a few decades ago, which can be quite comical when talking about a Dodge Caravan vs a 70s muscle car. But the standards of speed also changed dramatically. And 6 seconds 0-100 on a "performance" car is hardly impressive today. But I also bet that 1960s 6 seconds felt far more exciting than today's 6 seconds 😏

Hi, just had this pop up and never saw it before. Southern California native here. Way back in 1977 when i was 17, i bought a 68 Mustang from its original owner. It was in beautiful condition, 289 engine, automatic, power steering, Factory AC, white vinyl top, and the optional hood turn signal indicators. You seemed so curious about why they existed. Very simply, it looked COOL. especially at night. My car is 100 percent original never been updated, modified, or molested in any way. The only change i made to it was changing the paint color from a girlie powder blue, to Corvette white, about a year after i bought it. Was a huge improvement, and works fine with the 2 tone blue interior. It was my daily driver till i purchased my 1st brand new car a 1980 Toyota Celica in october of that year. Since then the stang has been for pleasure use, fun, and car shows. An occasional trip to San Diego to stretch her legs, about 110 miles from home. The transmission was rebuilt in 1984, the engine hasn't been touched. The radiator has been replaced, the steering box, to get rid of all the play it had, like the car you were driving, they didn't come loose and sloppy like that new. Amazingly the alternator and power steering pump are original. 6 years ago I decided to do some serious reconditioning on the old girl. I had the complte front end suspension replaced, new rear leaf springs, and another new vynil top replacement. Its had 6 of those over 47 years. I also had the entire interior replaced, all materials were in the factory correct colors, and material grain. Seats, carpet, door panels, dashpad, armrests, a new instrument cluster and dash trim.and all the interior metal was repainted. The upholsterer had the car just under 2 months. When i went to get it i was absolutely stunned how fantastic it turned out. This guy made it look brand new. Anyway as you can see i like talking about the old girl! Sorry for rambling on. Its never been for sale, but people do want to buy it, and throw offers at me. 2 years ago at a car show I was offered 20.000 dollars for it. Not to bad since I paid 500 dollars for it in 1977 of course that was about 3000 bucks in todays money. Be well, and if you think the Mustang drove strangely, you should drive my 1958 cadillac!! Lol. Its a beast.

Interesting. So you must be in Canada, because in researching these cars I have found that the US market FG4's have the base-model HVAC controls while the Canadian market, where these were made, got the more upscale HVAC interface, the one with the little LED readout. It's weird because you would think the highest-trim Civic would have gotten the nicer interface even in the US. My FG3 has the nice one, and my FG4 has the one with just knobs and buttons. My guess was that Canadian Si's were given the upmarket one because that's the one that's wired for heated seats, which the American cars didn't get. I actually like the base controls because it allows you to control the temperature without having to turn the fan on. They also removed the AUX input by the time the '14's were released and replaced it with.....an HDMI input, of all things. Wish I had an AUX input

Sounds less like a GT review and more like a Challenger knock. Also what car has a the ideal back-up camera? I’ve driven many, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes, GM, Ford, Tesla, Toyota, etc and TBH I don’t know what you’re talking about there. You aren’t honestly expecting 4k 60fps out of something used as a loose reference for about 10 seconds to help make sure you don’t run into something, right?
@themockalove
@themockalove 10 ай бұрын
There are two major problems with the Challenger GT. 1) Price: This is almost $50k CAD. Paying that kind of money to feel like you're in a rental car is wild to me. For that money, there is better value unless you're hell bent on having a challenger without the performance chops or sound. 2) The R/T exists within a couple grand from the GT. It's not a shitbox by any means. As I mentioned in the video, I enjoyed driving it. It was comfortable, cushy, spacious, and it looks good. But the quality of the interior screamed rental car, and it wasn't exciting or inspiring to drive in any way. From where I'm sitting, it's not very good at any particular thing, but looking like challenger. It's okay at everything, but there are more practical cars for the money, far more exciting performance cars for the money (Elantra N, Type R, Veloster N, Golf R, 370Z, GR86, Miata, and again, Challenger R/T). Long story short, if you want a challenger but doesn't care about V8 sound and performance and need AWD, buy it. Otherwise, it won't be particularly satisfying for long.
