I have a hand full of rocks iv found on the same block in beautiful Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺 any-a-ways.. all these rocks r small thay fit in my hand small..any-a-ways I can bring up Google earth maps on a tablet @ this beautiful site in western Australia 🇦🇺 called De-Grey.. now. The old aboriginal dream time stories about the rainbow serpent 🐍 r 110% all true. Any-a-ways I place these rocks on top of the tablet with maps up zoom out 60-80kms & all match up perfectly perfect 2 this site in western Australia 🇦🇺.. so yer.. we all love on the back of a sleeping/dead serpent 🐍 now.. Hi Greg, we didn't detect that spot, there are very limited tracks where we were detecting, we often just explore areas until we find ground that we like before detecting, we had no idea what was on the other side of the hill :)

Always check those hot rocks with intense gold sounds as I did find one last year that had gold in it. It stuck to the magnet also. You have to remember "Magnetic rock is from an iron background and also remember gold rides into town on the back of an iron horse.

Gday Nick, Well mate, it’s all good fun.A lot of bending for 3oz . Things are different to even ten years ago,but doesn’t matter .If that covers expenses well and good. How many weeks did you do on this trip??.I spent a while in July last year in and around Dunolly and Wedderburn and just about every spot had old dig holes. It’s amazing where people get these days with 4WDS. Do you think you would have done the same gold tally in Vic over the same time frame?.Cheers Greg
