Great job guys. It's always better to have cool conditions while prospecting but the rain can be a stopper. Can create crab holes that bog your vehicle... 😊

That area free of soil was something I have never seen before. Did you say it was water that did all that? Which do you guys prefer, the heat of the summer or the cool and wet weather you had?

Hi Peter, we found the nuggetfinder coil great to use, it ran very stable and ran very very quite and a lot more stable!

Where do you guys get those picks. You and Vo-Gus use the same ones. I’d love to find one over in the states like that for some detecting out in the woods or creek

We got our picks from Coiltek Maryborough Australia mate, good quality and they last for years, they might be able to post you one :)

@@nickgordon9445 that would be awesome. I’ve tried every pick they sale around the US for most detectorist. They always seem to be thin metal handled and there’s a lot of bottle digging and arrowhead hunting I do. Here in Arkansas where I live everything is hidden under roots, and a good pick would be a lifesaver.

That rock is bedrock its what you look for when in need of water. The hole with the water and log in it is called a Gnamma hole. Aborigines travel the harsh outback from Gnamma hole to Gnamma hole.

The area was all sand mate, no gravel anywhere, the big rocks were really cool, water was naturally seeping out of them.
