Excellent tip. Thank you Gunther! This fixed my timelapse. After hours of pulling curves and not understanding how the same image could result in such different white balance on half the sequence , after removing clarity and dehaze , it fixed the issue.

I don't know. You'd need to ask the author via dslrdashboard.info However, I'd recommend to just use a cheap used android device. Nearly anything will do, it doesn't have to cost more than 50 bucks and you'd have your primary phone free for other tasks.

Hi. There is one more question, or rather a program proposal. On the render tab, we can enable frame blending, which gives a beautiful blur. This blur works beautifully with people and cars, but in the sky the clouds become too blurry. I suggest making it possible to apply a gradient mask for this filter there, so that you can limit or adjust the direction and place of exposure for this mixing... I think it would be useful for all of us. Anton

It wouldn't make sense, but LRTimelapse generally exports the developed images into an intermediate folder (named LRT_*) which you can access, that images will be used for the video generation.

Hi Gunter , I've got your app LRTimelapse , qDslrDashboard, Canon EOS R7 and a Benro Polaris motorised head. You say that we can use any timelapse system to trigger instead. I use qDslrDashboard but when I start a timelapse with Benro, I plug with 3.5 jack on my camera , trigger doesn't work but I can capture image with qDslrDashboard, may I have to set something special in qDslrDashboard to use an external intervalometer , or perhaps set something on my Canon . If I stop qDslrDashboard wifi connection I can trigger my Canon. Let me know if you get an idea how to fix that problems , thanks and well done for your video.

Great tutorial for me that I use CaptureOne to develop raw files. My question, beeing a new user of LRT is if you suggest to use LRT vs Capture One for raw development. I use C1 professionally every day with my team and we find the exported jpgs close to perfect to be then used in LRT to create the TL clip. What is your opinion/suggestion?
@LRTimelapseOfficial
@LRTimelapseOfficial 4 ай бұрын
LRTimelapse doesn't support C1 and it would also not be a good idea to develop anything in C1 in combination with LRT. If you don't want to work with Lightroom Classic, you'd need to use the internal workflow outlined in this video. But no C1 for timelapses, I'm sorry.

@LRTimelapseOfficial
@LRTimelapseOfficial 4 ай бұрын
In the render dialog you have the option for slow down or speed up. But mind that the software cannot "invent" intermediate images, that means, the slower you make it, the less smooth it would be. It's always better to work with shorter intervals from the start (while shooting).

Thanks, Gunther! This a great program and a great tutorial. You explained everything so clearly. Have you considered adding a feature in the Render stage where you can create or import a custom text watermark or a studio's logo to the rendered timelapse, the way we can when exporting an image from Lightroom? Currently, I am doing that in FCP X, but being able to do it in LRTimelapse would make production more efficient.
@LRTimelapseOfficial

Actually with LRT Pro there is an option to add a Watermark overlay to the exported video. However it's more intended to be for "Copyright" reasons when sending clips to customers before they have payed. It's test only, no logo or customizable fonts. I feel, if at all, something like that would be better done on the final edit in the video editing program.
