Gunter is the absolute GOAT. Gave us 5.5 for free during the pandemic, two years later, you can edit straight in LRT, don't apologize for such an amazing upgrade while still supporting the past licenses! I'd stand in line all night in the cold and rain to get 6 soon as I can!

Amazing tool! I struggled for a while creating time lapses, and then picked up LRT 5. It transformed my world. It made me want to create even more time lapses. I just finished a huge job over months of time lapse across 3 different cameras. I didn't want to upgrade in the middle of my project, (Big mistake!) I was processing over 800,000 pictures and doing overnight jobs. now that I have upgraded to LRT 6, I finally realize how much computer time I could have saved if I would have upgraded earlier. This is an amazing tool! Thank you so much for creating it and making regular updates!

Thank you Alan, much appreciated. But we will always need the powerful Raw converter in the background, which is Lightroom/Camera Raw. I don't have the resources to develop a Raw-Converter on my own, support all the different cameras etc...

This is a wonderful set of new features! Thank you for your hard work, Gunther, and I'll be only too happy to pay for an upgrade from my Pro 5 licence. LRT is one of the best designed and most reliable "niche" applications from an independent developer that I've ever seen, and I think you do an amazing job. I have just moved house, all my camera gear is still in boxes and my photography iMac is half-way through a big re-install after I had to get the motherboard replaced due to an issue with the Fusion drive... but before long I should be back up and running and I can't wait to try this new version :)

Question - In the past when using the clarity (and possibly contrast, dehaze etc) in Lightroom, it would introduce flicker into the timelapse sequence, due to the way the clarity algorithm works differently on each image. Is this resolved by using the LRTimelapse internal clarity slider?
@LRTimelapseOfficial2 жыл бұрын
LRTimelapse can only operate the Lightroom tools. The behavior of those tools didn't change. Check out my expert Tips video #5 to learn about this issue and how to get around it: lrtimelapse.com/tutorial/expert

Hello Gunther, thank you so much, this is amazing! I have a question: I'm looking for to the new MacBook Pro M1 and I'd like to ask you which is the best configuration for LRTimelapse intensive use. I was thinking about M1 Max 10 CPU core, 32 GPU core. What about RAM? Do you have real improvement with 64 gb compared to 32? Thanks in advance!
@LRTimelapseOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Hi, the differences between the different M1 options are not as huge (as the prices are). I'd not invest in 64 GB, if you don't need it for other applications. LRTimelapse won't take profit of it.

Hi! New customer of the pro license, love it so far! Is there any plans for features like a keyframe generator, but for finding the places where there is unwanted camera movement? Long shoots over multiple days often cause minor camera movement that needs to be geometry corrected to line up again, and its a pain to go through thousands of shots 😄
@LRTimelapseOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Usually one would do that kind of stabilizing after export with a dedicated video stabilizer like Warp Stabilizer (in After Effects or Premiere Pro) or the stabilizer in Davinci Resolve. I don't think that doing that on a keyframe basis is an effective method... Please come to the LRTimelapse forum for further questions: forum.lrtimelapse.com/

Will be nice to do some editing in LRTimelapse as many of the settings in Lightroom cause contrast flickering.
@LRTimelapseOfficial3 жыл бұрын
The tools are the same, LRTimelapse is only working on metadata basis. if a tool causes contrast flicker it will regardless where you apply it. But there are ways to deal with this easily as I explained in my Expert Tips Video #5: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpOZho2piqqjias

Do Metadata / Clear Metadata in LRTimelapse.
@stratios12 жыл бұрын
@@LRTimelapseOfficial thank you very much. With this method is like a hard reset? Starts from the beggining?? No keyframes, no holy grail curves?? Everything starts from default? I did it a couple of times but i see that some setting didn't go to default. Also in Lightroom the stars from filters didn't reset. Even if i read again metadata after the the "clear metadata". Is there any option that starts everything from scratch?
@LRTimelapseOfficial2 жыл бұрын
@@stratios1 Bie Metadata / Clear Metadata you will reset everything. Of course, Lightroom will not be directly affected. To make sure, that in Lightroom everything is reset, select all images in Grid View and use the Lightroom "Reset" button to clear the edits there also.

@LRTimelapseOfficial Жыл бұрын
It wouldn't make sense. Photoshop is a pixelbased Image editor. Whereas LRTimelapse uses a Raw-Converter approach. You can use it with Adobe Camera Raw (which is also the Raw Converter called by Photoshop). But it makes more sense and an easier workflow if you use it with Lightroom Classic. Any user with a Creative Cloud license necessary to run photoshop should also have access to Lightroom Classic.

I shoot very long time lapses. 2-5 years of construction. For a smooooth video, I manually remove ALL sunny days. I think there must be some solution for filtering sunny and rainy days using AI (Convolutional Neural Network). It would be cool to have such a function in the LRT.
