Pvp in this game is trash overall. Complete waste of time.

pvp is overall just so underwhelming anyway. Its a PVE game with a tacted on "pvp"

agree i have all classes maxed out and occassionally will want to try the bulwark again thinking i'm just playing it wrong... but nope it just sucks. I can help my team win but usually end up with only a handful of kills... their mele needs to be incredibly buffed. Maybe it would help if you got points for deflected bullets so that it doesn't look like you suck when you use the class... because tanking shots for your team is a huge asset but you're not rewarded for it so it just looks like they're useless.

I wish absorbing damage with your shield got you points. I hate having a bad K/D and people call me out on it but I'm tanking damage for everyone.

This game has potential to be fun but it is loaded with issues needs massive quality of life updates translation updates and balance changes. The game is overall repetitive uninteresting and lacks diversity in game modes.

float in and out of threatening status in fights and try to start the fights for your team with the shield up. rotate to the outside and engage in bursts in any period where noone is aiming at you anymore. if you do this and stay with your team, you can play passive to great effect. you can turtle if you block grenades, avoid melee/grapple, and dont get flanked.

there one was one point where i was playing that i wanted to quit playing because of the climbing so annoying

Bulwark to me is all about drawing enemy attention. Getting behind enemy lines and just saying HEY LOOKAT ME! The idea being that if I could draw in enemy fire that's less attention spent on my teammates. Perhaps they kill who's shooting you! (Do you even get an assist for that?!) Bulwark should have the most deflated stats.

The thing is that there is no benefit to using the normal stance over the power one because they have the same DPS to kill someone, but the power stance can also hit multiple targets. The shield bash is useless in PVP because it cannot stun other players. I would make the bulwark able to take many jump steps while being able to keep his shield up, and the shield bash makes like a .5 sec stun so you can consistently win melee fights. I would speed up the final attack of the sword combo of the speed stance. To compensate for the power stance's lack of DPS, I would make it unblockable unless another bulwark uses their shield (so you are still pushed to use charged attack and not spam it)

don't like a bulwark having a infinite shield, 6 space marines shooting 1 bulwark shield and it does nothing. should have a shield bar where it can only take so much damage

Your so freaking wrong XD Bulwark Puts people down, Rarely dies in melee, can't be touched from Range... unless outnumbered... positioning is key..

For the power sword try the: attack -> delay input -> attack ability. It breaks guard and is a guaranteed kill if both hit. I've also found the heavy stance to be better at 1v1 in PVP.

I think its a skill issues tbh, no insult intended. Its a different mindset to play bulwark vs other classes. I personally have no issues regardless of team comp or skill but its the class i feel most comfortable on. I will say that the shield bash needs work tho.

I know what you mean. Bulwark falls apart if you have a bad public team, since they're not using you and there's no reason for the other team to respect you outside of a 1v1. Everything hinges on your team being competent enough for you to do your job, since you cannot return fire while being fired on. They class is a bit better in tdm, since if your team is bad you can wander off to peel enemies. A good bulwark is a win on capture, but on a bad team may as well not be there. Sometimes you see high kda bulwarks on a bad match but it's usually because they gave up on their role and are wandering around using the objective as a way to inflate their kill count. One minor advantage is enemy teams sometimes ignore you to focus down your team, letting you shoot them. Although they're just as likely to throw three or four shock grenades at you the second they see you. It's a class without as much agency when you get outnumbered. Feast or famine in a sense.

I think you need to reconsider sir. If you charge the power sword it’s a 3 hit kill. Same as a hammer but faster. Good for double and triple kill flanks. The pistol is not amazing but very easy to pick up kills with, so offensively they’re fine (relatively) And obviously with the shield and the 4 armor bars and the banner, they’re very strong defensively. (Relatively) I’ve dropped 30 and 40 kill games in capture and control with bulwark. You do get countered by a grapple shot and a good assault but not to the point that you can’t adjust. I’d say it’s in a great spot.

300h in this game and 75% of items get. And 8 ult weapons lvl 4 4 max build ult frames.

Having a Bulwark is the difference between wining or losing a game when u play against a good team

While I agree the bulwark is underwhelming in PVP, its not really for the reasons you've stated. Your gameplay wasn't particularly showcasing the greatest decision making either (shooting at the vanguard who is in melee rather than use the higher dps sword in the opening clip as an immediate example).

Well, as a bulwark you're meant to be defensive, and act as a dissuading force You force people to either flank you or come in to melee, where you're likely to have the advantage. As a defensive player you're kind of meant to not go for the kills as much, your purpose is being the BULWARK. You're a brick wall with massive defense. But I agree rhe melee needs a buff for bulwark

yeah this basically summarizes the sniper's pvp experience. I realized this nasty combo once I learned how shock grenades worked in pvp and now it's what I use If I don't feel like being a sniper. Krak grenades also kind of work- And I mean kind of, damage doesn't feel consistent enough to replace shock but if you feel too much like a gamer it's an ok replacement. I haven't reached the rank for melta bomb yet but I'm sure that's a great replacement for the more objective based matches.

what you said is correct, play as a team. however there are some classes that excel at flanking like Assault and Vanguard. i reckon you should give one of them a go =D

I already don't like asian style games, like genshin or DMC, Monster hunter and MGS. So it's already dropping down for me (personaly). Also a character creation with class choice would've won more points for many people than just choosing characters. I can't stand those baby korean faces. Like, idk how to describe it, but for me, it's a big nope. Blair looks cool af on the other hand. Again, it's only personal preferences. Gameplay wise...... Warframe+Destiny. That's it. I know this comparaison pisses some people off, but it litteraly is true. Level design and missions wise... sure, kind of repetitive at some points but meh. I like farming anyways so i don't really care as a Warframe player. Crafting wise... i've seen WAY worse in some other games, so yeah, nothing amazing but not bad neither. Microtransactions............................................ i'll leave it at that. All in all, (I) would give this game a 5.5 outta 10. No the best, but not the worst. I understand why some people love it, but i also understand why some people hate it. And AGAAAAIN, this is only MY view on it. Don't take it personal.
