As someone who has the complete series on DVD of the original Fugitive, the 93 movie is still a great classic. The same with Sunset Boulevard.

In my idea of life after death I would wake up and be on the U.S.S Enterprise-everyone from the original series is there. There would be Spock captain kirk Uhura and the rest. They would be real and not actors!
@ThatWalterG4 ай бұрын
I like that. Have you seen the movie Galaxy Quest by chance? I think that Star Trek should parody that movie in an episode of Strange New Worlds.

@ThatWalterG4 ай бұрын
Yes, I had a shorter cord for the Prusik on the way down after losing the first somewhere at the top. I wasn't as tangled on the way down. I will recommend wearing actual hiking shoes so as not to slide around as much.

@@ThatWalterG for sure. For the gloves would you recommend open or close fingered gloves? Were there any metal threads sticking out along the cable?

We were just there July 30th. Fabulous place. Over too quick though - I could have spent days "on the ship" instead of 1 hour. Never got settled enough to get that, "I'm on the ship" feeling that I thought I'd get if I just imagined hard enough.
@ThatWalterG6 ай бұрын
I absolutely loved it! There's another set tour down in Kingsland, Georgia, from Star Trek Continues that's worth the trip. They're a little less restrictive as to what can be touched.
@rackattackgamer79286 ай бұрын
@@ThatWalterG Yes ... I knew.. .and I've been thinking about it... maybe next year. I loved it too, I think a little too much talking by the guide... I just wanted to feel the atmosphere and hear the sounds, etc. I tried to fool myself as if I was "really" on the ship... but the talking stopped that illusion. ;)

Is there a little path down there right in front of that Dillsboro city limits sign? Trying to figure out the best way down there, and based on google earth that seems like the spot
@ThatWalterG8 ай бұрын
The way down is steep in some spots once you make in over the metal guard rail near the sign. Just work your way down and diagonally left and be mindful of the drop-off near the bottom.
