We were just there July 30th. Fabulous place. Over too quick though - I could have spent days "on the ship" instead of 1 hour. Never got settled enough to get that, "I'm on the ship" feeling that I thought I'd get if I just imagined hard enough.

I absolutely loved it! There's another set tour down in Kingsland, Georgia, from Star Trek Continues that's worth the trip. They're a little less restrictive as to what can be touched.

@@ThatWalterG Yes ... I knew.. .and I've been thinking about it... maybe next year. I loved it too, I think a little too much talking by the guide... I just wanted to feel the atmosphere and hear the sounds, etc. I tried to fool myself as if I was "really" on the ship... but the talking stopped that illusion. ;)

In my idea of life after death I would wake up and be on the U.S.S Enterprise-everyone from the original series is there. There would be Spock captain kirk Uhura and the rest. They would be real and not actors!

I like that. Have you seen the movie Galaxy Quest by chance? I think that Star Trek should parody that movie in an episode of Strange New Worlds.
