I am an old PG's hiperfan and Wrechter 83' concert is, for me, one of his most exciting and powerful live concerts. I miss a lot a soundboard recording. However, only audience versions are available. Wrechter captures the amazing vocal peculiarities of Master Gabriel in his best years and how he is able to conduct our emotions to their extreme.

Their habit of remixing their songs by just taking away elements from them is interesting. Perhaps it is to bring attention to the arrangements and musicianship? So the listeners are forced to pay attention to them. Because the layers of music is really impressive. Every band member makes an independent contribution to their songs. Their is separation between all instruments. I think that's a sign of a really good band when you can zoom in and go "that bassline is fantastic". The bass does alot of stuff in Watchmen for example that I didn't hear at first listen. Especially live.

Paul Raven's magnificent driving bass propels this song into the realm of the sublime. The interplay between Raven's bass groove, Geordie's otherworldly guitar, Big Paul's relentless drumming, and Jaz's prophetic voice and keyboard textures made this lineup my favorite among the Joke's many manifestations.

Thank you for this admirable work, this sumptuousness that galvanises me and wakes me up more than 10 mornings a month. How sad to lose such a guitarist... These musical notes will no longer have the same taste during our mourning period... Thank you again for everything you gave us. RIP K Walker

Да, мне всегда особенно нравилась партия баса именно в этой песне Кататонии(она несёт главную мысль в мелодии). Такая странная по звучанию песня, ни на что не похожая. Не повторимая атмосфера. Твой кавер восхитительный, спасибо.
