thank you, where and how can we find packages for turtlebot3 for Gazebo harmonic and ROS2 Jazzy
@ddudas9 күн бұрын
@@adrianyankou7170 the official packages have support till Humble and the old Gazebo. I ported both the simulation and the real robot packages to Jazzy and Gazebo Harmonic (so far only for burger), you can find my simulation package here: github.com/MOGI-ROS/turtlebot3_simulations/tree/new_gazebo

David Dudas, your name and surname sound so Hungarian :) I love this language. Btw, can we use this software with real hardware? I have Ubuntu 18 and ROS Melodic, also a Lidar and I am about to get a Xtion RGBD camera. That is why I am asking. Can I start the node without the world you preset in gazebo, for the robot to map my environment? I am sorry for all the question, but I am still learning and learning.
@ddudas2 жыл бұрын
Hi, good guess, yes, I'm Hungarian :-) You can see a video here in real life environment with real robot: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKGzaHljd7Wrjbs I have mixed real-life experience, if you have low framerate due to slow HW like a Raspberry or even a Jetson Nano, it's far from perfect, but it worth trying it! If you need any further help, I'm sure that I have some example configuration/launchfile on my GitHub.

The positions of the squares on the chessboard is calibrated and stored so you can easily move a piece from e.g. E2 to E4

@ddudas3 жыл бұрын
Hi! In this example RTAB-Map is using both rgbd camera and lidar. Rgbd camera for the loop closure and lidar for the 2D grid. But you have huge flexibility with RTAB-Map to select your sensors

Hi David, is there any chance to get the source code or instructions for this project?
@ddudas4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sven, sure! You can find my ROS tutorials on Github: github.com/hungarianrobot/Project-2-Mapping These tutorials are using a Gazebo simulation, if you want to use it on a real robot you might need some custom solution to drive your robot HW around though. You can find my ROS interface to this real robot on my personal Github: github.com/dudasdavid/revvyframework_ros
