I think the easiest way is cover the opposite page in a large photo block. Since you can' t stretch the wave circle background, it kind of limits a lot of option for adapting it to a two-page. For the photo block you could either use one that covers the whole second page or you could do a smaller one with some white space around it.

I like to use either paint or ink. Paint is my favorite though because it turns out a little more bold and noticeable than ink does. I use a make up sponge (those small triangle ones) and dab it into a small bit of paint and then drag it along the edge. You can also use more of a flicking motion to get a messier, distressed look. I hope that helps!

Thank you so much!! I do have a set of 6x8" sketches, it's to complete a 6x8" album. And, I'll have more added later this year. Here's the link to the one I do have: scrapbookgeneration.com/digital-download-allison-davis-sketches-504/ Adapting the 12x12" sketches into 6x8" can be challenging because of the size difference, but it's totally doable. It all comes down to reducing the size of photos and elements to fit. The challenging part is that the shape of the layout is completely different so sometimes you have to kind of squish things in from the left and right and then expand things to the top and bottom. I think the things that I would focus on the most is making sure that the spacing/margins are similar to the original sketch. For example: let's say a 12x12" sketch had a 10x10 background design. That leaves a 1" margin around all edges of the layout. So to adapt that to a 6x8" layout you could use a 5x7" background with a 1/2" margin around all edges. The margin is a little smaller, but it's consistent with the original design as a whole. I hope that makes sense!
