thought: adjustable vs "hammer-down" hold fasts don't cause as much wear on the hole when tightening, BC there is no shaft movement (sliding friction) at the hole whilst tightening

Fantastic! Cabinet is in a tight space with only several inches either side with drawer open and was ready to use a sledge hammer and buy a new one. Used an angle attachment on my drill to remove screw. Wow. Thanks a bunch.

On my model, there were two screws that needed to be removed the one that you removed, and then the one right behind it and then just like a video shows it slides down and you can move it past that metal stopper at the back of the door. Hardly intuitive, but definitely very well made slides.
