thought: adjustable vs "hammer-down" hold fasts don't cause as much wear on the hole when tightening, BC there is no shaft movement (sliding friction) at the hole whilst tightening

Fantastic! Cabinet is in a tight space with only several inches either side with drawer open and was ready to use a sledge hammer and buy a new one. Used an angle attachment on my drill to remove screw. Wow. Thanks a bunch.

thank you again. On my model, there were two screws that needed to be removed the one that you removed, and then the one right behind it and then just like a video shows it slides down and you can move it past that metal stopper at the back of the door. Hardly intuitive, but definitely very well made slides.

What grit sandpaper did you use? and did you apply any coat to seal the stain?
