However, this isn't at all the issue at hand... He's trying to address the feminine oppression that often occurs in a community where more than half of men have some degree of femininity. Nobody minds you being attracted to masc, most gay men prefer it, and I don't need stats to tell me that - just don't go around telling men they'd get a women if they wanted a sissy boy, it's hypocritical.

In light of recent events, just days after the overturning of Roe vs Wade (it's fucking horrid that I have to even type that) I've started to embrace Riot Grrrl more that I used to. Likewise, I'm currently looking towards newer artists who I can relate to. Finding that in hardcore is difficult. I'm so glad I've found this video, and thus this band. Feminist or feminist leaning bands are underrated, and really always have been. In my opinion, though, punk brings empowerment to those who are marginalized. It gives them a place for catharsis. As a femandrogyne woman, I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have this kind of music and the support of a genuine community, even if I've really only found it online. Thank you for the video!
