Air pollution would drastically lessen if they'll make a designated/separate road for cyclists or non motorized vehicles only and people will get their daily exercise.

Maybe have to convert 12 speeds too heavy for this. Mod the 12 speeds to 7 speeds and change the chain ring to 56T with carbon wheels. That will lighten the bike. This mod will make the T line lighter for climb and speed.

The number 1 reason I purchased my original Brompton was the size. Small and compact to carry into my condo, take on the subway and throw it in the trunk of my car. The number 1 reason I don't use my Brompton, is the unstable and uncomfortable ride. In other words the bike is a compromise. The G line is a compromise in the opposite direction, better ride, less compact. At the stage of life I am in, the G line looks like a better fit for my needs. Great review.

If have to pick something for you to try here in Portland: Springville Road, from Bridge Avenue. It is mostly a gravel/mountain bike road associated with Forest Park. But the starting half mile is paved and it looks gnarly from Bridge Avenue/St. Johns Bridge. Strava lists it as having 18% pinches in there.

I definitely won't buy a G line. It's too big and heavy for a foldable. I currently have a C line, the only other Brompton I'd get would be a P or a T if I get the extra cash. I started to use my Brompton C line for touring, me 90 kilo and 30 kilo luggage and no issues. It's such a great bike.

Buying one from an actual dealer is still a much better deal. Rent from them if you must and then go actually buy one from a local retailer that will take care of it for you. using Wombi is like buying a TV from Rent a Center. It's gonna cost you somehow and the fine print is DANGEROUS.

As an HSD owner, I love what Wombi is doing to get these bikes into more hands for people to try hassle-free. These are high quality bikes that are built with the highest specs, and we even replaced on of our cars with the HSD - the belt drive is amazing in the cold/inclement weather. Hoping you have the best experience going car-lite!! Loved this video.

Wombi is such a great idea. The rates seem reasonable given the cost of the bike and all inclusive service (even pick up and drop off, which is a big deal - cargo bikes won’t fit in most vehicles or typical bike car racks). Compare that to leasing a car, paying for insurance, paying for gas, and often paying for parking. I hope Wombi is successful in Greenwood and extend their service area beyond the great white north and come to south Seattle! Dave’s should hand out fliers to parents waiting to pick up and drop off kids.

Good first ride. Thanks for sharing. I have a Bike Friday All Packa which is great for gravel and touring. It fits in a suitcase but the fold for trains and buses is not as neat as the Brompton. Production question - what drone did you use? Did you use for the ride alongside?
