Amazing doing it on a Brampton, I did it back in 2015 without the Cyprus climb and remember that Welcome to Whistler sign! A definite case of being a bit premature if you thought it was nearly over at that point. Will do it again - perhaps 2026!

@BestSideCycling3 күн бұрын
@@LLF1234 the event organizers had bus and bike transport back to Vancouver. Many locals arrange pickups from their friends and family including me :) though I probably had a much easier time fitting it into the car 😀

I was in Whistler on my MTB for labor and you are right the views are just amazing. For the next challenge you need to do a climb on a XC bike. After all they are all about the climb and you can wear your Best Side Cycling gear with it. Also how is your friend Jasmine doing??

Nicely done! Do you think it’d be possible with a t-line 4-speed?
@BestSideCycling4 күн бұрын
@@alasdairmaughan1 probably not on the default 50T at least for me 🤣 on the 44T definitely but then you will be even slower. I really enjoy the 12 speeds but I admit I'm an edge case of Brompton t line riders treating it as a road bike

Quick question hahaha I've signed up to the 2025 grand Fondo and i was wondering, do you think it's possible to do it on a mountain bike? As opposed to a road bike?
@BestSideCycling4 күн бұрын
@@GDoggProductions yeah there's no issue taking a mountain bike but if you want the completely car free experience there is a time cut off til they open it back up. Otherwise you should be good.
