Great video man! I wish we had barble in Michigan they seem like such a cool and tough fighting fish! Keep up the good work!

Thanks, just casting out and seeing what you can catch is great fun, but for some reason the Barbel were really on it ha ha

@@luke_angling great to see, the upper Trent stretches (west of the M1) have been tough going for the barbel. *For me at least

@@harrybobs4014 Where I fish it's not been too bad. There is one swim now where an otter has decided to live and the fishing on that peg has really suffered.

Tidy vid bud,Not a fan of closed feeders prefer open ended cage feeders with some scalded pellets.I can hear that weir!! Sub from me👍

Thanks for the sub. Yes these feeders aren't the best. I use plastic ties on the bottom cap or you lose them. In summer I use hemp and casters so these feeders do the job. But when its colder I use the same as you 🖒

Do you have to pay $ to fish at a place like this?
@luke_angling
@luke_angling 10 күн бұрын
Over here in The UK you either pay for a year's fishing or on some stretches of rivers you can buy a day ticket. There are also some parts of rivers that are free to fish as well.

Hi Luke. Not ask where on the Trent you are but is it local to Derby by any chance? Nice fish. Tight lines.
