Those 3th gen explorers have alot of torque they definitely got balls for sure I've owned so many of them it's ridiculous and I've owned Soo many trailblazers and f150 and Silverados I know people are going to get mad for me saying this but I live in Michigan and me personally I think the f150s are better than the Silverados they just seem to last longer for me and trailblazers seem better than the ford explorer for me they seem more reliable

Thanks bud! I've got an 2005 endeavor. Looking to do work on it. Inexperienced, but starting to learn. First job is to change out some rear sway bar bushings. Then I want to do the pads all around. And if I'm feeling spry, or can find the parts. Want to do the tie rods.

I have an 07 with the same problem. All the windows are inoperable, the locks pop open and closed when the drivers door is opened and the drivers door speaker does not work. All the fuses are good but the remote key switch will not work the door locks. Thanks for the video, i had been looking for just an example to look at before i began to tear into my drivers door harness. Since i have so many broken wires inside the boot on my model i may just replace the whole door harness from the door switches to the plug at the dash panel.

Hey Tyler...hope all is well with you and yours during this crazy time! I'm hoping you still have that endeavor and if you do I have a Quick question for you after a little background. In short, I just replaced the heater core...ugh right! I have it all back together other than the radio face which has been on but removed after my initial attempt at starting the car. Here's the question, could you shoot a few pics of the electrical connections after the fuse panel? Like anything under the dash!!!! I also have a ground that I cannot figure out where the hell it goes. It's back behind the radio, a single black wire with an eyelet that won't reach to anywhere but the back of the radio itself. So if you ever have that apart I'd love to see those as well. All in all, after putting back together it will not turn over, no horn, lights, radio. The interior lights work, headlight warning once key is out works but no lights with switch on, turn signals did work but now don't, hazards work...oh and I have an extra connector behind the radio that seems to have lost its mate! This is soooo dam frustrating but hoping you could help if at all possible would be very much appreciated. Enjoy your pursuits and stay safe!!! C

I am so sorry to say that I no longer have the Endeavor. It was definitely one of my favorites. Sorry I am not able to help much. Maybe try finding one in a junk yard and get a look. They are definitely hard to find though.

Thanks for this information. I had a hard time finding II bolt. After I took the plastic apron down I was able to get the starter off. I'm sure it would have been easier had I not been doing it in a parking lot without the benefit of a Jack or jack stands.

I did this job after watching your video, it took me about an hour and a half (got up at 6 am, finished by 7:30 am)... I took my time, no hurry. Tips for everyone: I did NOT need to lift the SUV or use jack stands. Also, the starter shield, after taking the 2 bolts and 2 screws off, just push it slightly to the side (toward the front) and UP out of the way, leaving it in there. (I could not pull it DOWN and out). Also, remember to disconnect the battery, wear nitrile disposable shop gloves and wear safety glasses , especially when you are laying down taking the starter off, lost of dirt and oil down there to fall in your eyes. Thank you Tyler 👍, your video is much appreciated and gave me the confidence I could do it with a basic toolbox, an old Craftsman 150 piece set (only metric sockets needed for this), and a few socket extensions.
