Man, I dont know what that technique is called when it seems like stick is being let down on to the drum bouncing few times without putting any force in to it creating that "prrt" sound that just hits me straight in to my happines point EACH EFFIN TIME!!! This is such a strong track, lyrics, melody, the groove it's just perfect mix that affects my soul in happy way.

I’m sorry but I’d take Inferno over Gene any day. Gene doesn’t do blast beats. David Diepold over any of em

Im so lucky i got to jam with drummers in highskool in the 90s that could do this, i was rythum guitar, man they were next level at 17yo....and now tech we get to see it done again nearly 3 decades later by drummers that played with fear factory, devin, all the superstars...thank you internet ❤❤

So accurate, the guitar parts sound so close to the studio version. If you played 0:24 without headphones I would think it was the original

Heel-down bass drum technique is weak - thats why Gene uses triggers and Dave Lombardo doesn't.
