I’m shocked to find out that people questioned Pink’s singing abilities. Just because you are on the pop scene doesn’t mean you are not talented. Pink, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and many others have proven that they can handle challenging songs with high standards.

When she sang the lyrics “Just a step beyond the rain” my eyes began to cloud with tears but not a drop was shed throughout the song. Like the calm before the storm. It wasn’t until she sang “why oh why can’t I” when the tears burst through the clouds and streamed down my face like a river through a valley that’s been waiting for the rains to come and bring life to the land. And what do we see when the rain has stopped and the clouds have cleared the sky???? 🌈

Pinks rendition makes me cry it reminds me of the olds days growing up watching wizard of oz and just hanging out with my grandparents just thoses moments and memories just very nostalgic for me.

If I ever get to meet P!nk, I'm going to give her a huge hug and thank her for this performance. She could have done what so many singers so, which is to turn it into an over-sung, overblown "diva" piece (and she has the pipes to manage it), but she didn't! She sang this very simple song very simply, and did Judy Garland proud. I love her dearly for this.
