Pink is a soul artist who happens to do rock/alternative music. Asking her about collaborating with the likes of Rihanna and Katy Perry is disrespectful. That's why she commented on Adele (one of the more soulful pop acts) but more importantly injected Mary J and Lauryn Hill into the conversation. I remember when she collaborated with India Arie on her song 'I Am No My Hair' and how natural Pink felt on the track. I love the fact that she has a rebellious spirit about her, but she will always be a soulful kinda girl to me.

(Continued) to see P!NK when she performs within driving distance. You can feel the closeness, comfort, friendship, and the love and passion they share performing the music. I have never seen an artist with the ability to sing with her back up singers so naturally, with the pouring of love and respect she shares with the entire band. Alicia's talent, inner and outside beauty can not be compared to any artist I have ever seen. I have suffered from depressing and other issues and I am medicated properly but when things get difficult, there is no medicine that relaxes me more than putting on my headphone and listing to P!NK. Her sharing of her most intimate parts of her life is alluring. Alicia is w/o a doubt the greatest singer, song writer, and performer of our time. I don't want to bypass the fact that her fashion sense and personality doesn't hurt her greatness. I hope that wasn't too creepy.

Actually her album went double platinum in the U.S and spawned two top ten hits, but I guess success is relative...also we can't forget the Lady Marmalade collaboration :) The only reason she wasn't as successful as the likes of Christina and Britney, who came out around the same time was because she refused to follow the mold and become a puppet. That's a quality that hasn't changed about her. She has always been P!nk :) :) :)

Alicia, you scared the shit out of me when you said you were gonna be a country singer. I am a huge fan of 90's alternative and classic rock but there has never been a artist that has touched me nearly as much as P!NK. The pouring out of your heart through your music compares to nothing I have ever seen or heard. Each time she performs a song live, there is so much passion that comes out that it seems that you are performing and living the music and experience behind the music for the first time. To me, anger, pain, and difficult experiences in life, make up the best music and that comes through with every song. P!NK is, hands down the greatest live performer I have ever experienced and I have attended many concerts beginning in 1984 as a young teen to the present. I have 3 children that all have their own taste in music but we all stand in unison with our love of P!NK. As my kids get older we still and always We will always share is our love for P!NK and our desire to see her live
