The first time i watched this (over 35yrs ago) i was hyped for more Bruce footage. As it happened there was very little BUT i still enjoyed it for what it was. An exploitation movie yet probably one of the best of its type. There are some incredibly well put together choreographg scenes. Today it is STILL well worth a watch. Roy Horan is bat sh.t crazy as the villain and i love it!! Lol

Nahh.... a stuntman could just chuck Bruce Lee into the side of a parked car and put a big dent in the door with his head.

I have complete admiration for Jim Kelly. He was also a pioneer in martial arts 🥋. Bruce Lee trained with him out of respect and mutual hopes to be the best they can be in martial arts. In my opinion, Bruce Lee wanted to breakdown barriers within martial arts by learning about other styles of f martial arts. He took the best each one had to offer to combine and apply in the best way possible.

Interesting story for my dear Bruce Lee friends. Back in about 198 0 or so. There was a convention run by a man called Simmons and Dan lnosanto came over and a few of us were asked. Would we like to meet him at the airport? Of course! So being a teenager I got on the train and went to Heathrow airport. He arrived and the most amazing thing happened. There's a couple of people with him and a few of us and as he was walking towards the cab he dropped the game of death nunchuckers and the real red ones he used as well. Nobody saw it happen but being young and honest I picked him up and run over and give them back to Danny. He smiled and thanked me and got in his cab and we wished him the best. Just have held those real ones was amazing. I just thought I'd pass this on to you guys. Thank you stripey. You are totally the best.

When dating in the 70s I took my girlfriend to the drive in. At that time taking a date to the drive in meant one thing but Bruce Lee was playing. My girlfriend wouldn't take my calls after that just because I watched the movie.

Hi Stripey, my hardwood nunchakus are 50 years old. Anyway, did you know Arrow are bringing out Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns in 4k (a must have, like Bruce's films) what a superb job they did on them. You need an extension to keep all that memorabilia in lol. You need longer videos, mate. 11 minutes is too short
@StripeyR2 күн бұрын
Thanks Pal. I have seen Arrow's ad for the Eastwood trilogy in 4K (tons of new extra) a must own in my opinion. Yes, my Bruce Lee collection is getting quite large. I try to keep the videos fairly short (I wouldn't want to bore you guys 😉) The LIVE streams will be an hour or so. Cheers 👍

Great video Stripey. Im really envious of your nunchakus. I have a few sets myself, the "rattan" ones are my favourites. Im going to have a go at building some myself. The old ones with the swivels hidden inside are hard to work out. You can get the chain/swivel kits. But only in the USA. Im not sure if they ship to the UK. Will give it a go though. All the best buddy 😎👍🏻🙏

A John Little interview would be an absolute winner! I grew up on his writing and was so excited for months waiting for A Warriors Journey to be released. I'd like to know how his thoughts and opinions on Bruce have changed (if at all) from when he first discovered him up to now. What were the biggest surprises he discovered about Bruce? The channel is great keep up the hard work.

Thanks pal. I'm stoaked to get a chance to chat with John Little. I'll ask him these questions. Cheers, bud. I hope all is well 👍
