I heard from a few respected Bruce fans the hold up with 'The Green Hornet' is Shannon / the Lee estate. I even asked them via their official social media accounts when it would be coming out.... never got a reply. 'Batman' looks stunning on bluray. Watched the episodes featuring Bruce last week. Enjoying spending the weekend with your daughter Stripey. You'll have a lot of catching up to do.

Yes mate I heard the same. But I find it difficult to believe. Because I also heard its more about ABC and 20th century fox . And the legal rangle who own the distribution rights and so which I would think is more viable because the lee estate don't hold any rights to it they get royalties regardless if it's shown on tv or any other media release. Plus I can't see the lee family begrudging the fans out there. Cheers mate 👍

@whoever or whatever is the stumbling block they need to get it sorted ASAP. If we can get ‘here comes the bride’ on dvd surely we can TGH on Blu-ray. I’ve not spotted the show on UKTV for decades now. Last time I remember it being shown was on Bravo channel.

I totally agree with about the green hornet tv series it would be so good if the whole tv boxset did eventually come out ike they did with the batman tv boxset plus have a few special features as well. Also it would give us fans more to put with our other Bruce Lee films & documentaries. Keep up the good work up Stripey as u are very interesting as always 👍😎

Hi Stripey... love your screen presence & accent! I subscribed and I'm going to catch up on previous videos... I grew up with the Green Hornet in the 60's and have a huge admiration for Bruce Lee & his philosophy.... Funny how that producer couldn't imagine using Bruce for Kung Fu. I remember renting Fury of the Dragon from the video library in 1985. I'd seen the Big Boss, Fist of Fury, The Way of the Dragon and Game of Death, but, apart from that, I was a total Bruce Lee novice at that time. I hadn't read any books on him and never even heard of The Green Hornet. The title and cover art had me completely fooled into thinking I was renting a bonafide Bruce Lee film in the vein of Fist of Fury.

@ always wondered how that effect was done. Was it the shutter speed? The Jackie Chan one always makes me think of ‘The Incredibly Strange Film Show’ Great documentary on Jackie 👍

@@30plusfitnesstv I don't know how they did it back then, but, it was easy to do in Premiere Pro. The hardest bit was keeping my head still & just move my arms. If you watch Bruce do it in Fist, he has the same trouble 👍

I have watched all hornets since aired on satellite TV and now grabbed blu rays, same with batman's ( 3 eps actually as obviously 2 parter and window cameo lol) I hear hornets is a ownership issue hence no official bd releases ,I would love see Milton berle again was well funny .love anything new great as always stripey, keep up the video stuff awesome

Hi stripey, lovebyour videos mate. Do u know if the glass in the lights that he kicked in Marlow and way of the drag was real or fake. It could have been bad if bruce got glass in his eyes. Never thought about it until I've just watched your videos on Marlow. Keep up the great work, cheers Chris

It's looking doubtful for The Green Hornet, mate, but, Batman is available on Blu Ray & it looks fantastic. Cheers 👍

I hear that the real reason why "The Green Hornet" 10:16 TV Series is not yet legally available on Home Video media or on Legal Streaming is mainly because of the Dozier family who were extremely well paid for the release of the cousin-brother tv series "Batman" back on November 11,2014.ALL other estates,parties,entities involved with it have already given their ok,so it's up to the Doziers,who represent the holding properties of late executive producer William Dozier,who produced both tv programs "The Green Hornet" and "Batman".Of all the holding properties the Doziers have,"TGH" is their most valuable and lucrative.

About the green hornet movies..there is a quite a difference the French one is remastered and much better and the German one is more clear and more colourful..seeing the difference between them DVDs I know who good it must look on Blu ray but he....nothing's coming
