I like your video. But you are talking about shifting without the clutch and using the jakes. I used to double clutch and could keep the jakes on. Yes, people gonna hate me saying that i double clutched, but, my transmission lasted a LONG TIME. Besides, i don't worry about opinions. There over 8 billion of them; only 1 that matters is mine.

Great Video/tutorial, but, steep incline heavy load, I'm turning jakes off. You once said you never turn yours off.
@presy_jayСағат бұрын
Why turn it off? No need to. If the jake brake bothers you on a steep incline, you're doing something wrong. I'll cover that in another video.

Thanks for explaining the 18. I drove fleet with 13. I once got stuck with a 9 for a short time. They suck! Now they got them in auto. Takes all the fun out of it. Oh yeah, that blind side lol. My very first run ever, I tore down a chainlink fence at a candy distributor in Dallas. You learn real quick. 😂 Sure do love watching your content.

Top notch editing again Marv 🫡🫡 it must be hard syncing both cameras to the audio, and you absolutely aced it🫡
@presy_jay4 сағат бұрын
Mannnnn.... let me tell you! If my viewers only knew how difficult it is to edit a video using multiple cameras, I wouldn't even have to ask them to like, comment, or share these videos. It's a very tedious process. Just this 33 minute long video took me about 7 hrs to edit. That's the main reason why I started keeping my videos under 45 minutes. Between youtube's algorithm stifling (and not pushing my longer content), and my viewers not really understanding how important the engagement is, I decided to stop doing those hour long videos. But anyway... Thanks for recognizing the efforts I put into these videos. Greatly appreciated 🫡

@keithmorgan48834 сағат бұрын
@@Bushbro9 how??? Other than the mountain grades the auto transmission is pretty efficient. I think truck drivers just wanna stand out and feel superior cuz they're doing something else other than just holding the wheel. The auto transmission can be manipulated to do what you want.

Hey bro, just curious if you know where the name Jake Brake came from for the engine retarder. I drove buses for 26 years with the NYCTA and they're on all buses. Explain to the people what the retarder does when you take your foot off the gas pedal. Safe travels. Ps; I'm in the Bronx and I'm not forgetting that time you said Connecticut had the best Jamaican food. You tryna start a war?😅😅😅😅😅🎉
