Have you tried quest games optimizer? It’s not gonna be PCVR level but you can get the game looking much sharper

Looks fine for the art style. It would be a PC quest game that would require air link or the player would have to be very static to be able to fight well. Cableing would not be the best fill.

Only free roaming games like tea for god etc. But there aren't many of them. I guess most adults play games seated after a day of work. Guess only kids playing gorilla tag need wireless vr bahahaha

“Sponsored videos” probably. I always go by the Meta store reviews. Many cite numerous glitches and game breaking bugs. Even some of the five star reviews fawning over the game list some serious issues. And it still has a bit to go since the update notes mention that they’ve only “reduced” the number of crashes. I’m going to wait a while longer before dropping the $50 on it.

@@truth7downyou were lucky. The patch notes list nearly 40 fixes, only some were crashes, but it was a mess at launch, and it still needs more development time. If it was an inexpensive game with a lot of replay value, like a roguelike, I’d give it a try. But a story driven adventure game like this I generally only play through once so I want that play through to have as little immersion breaking bugs as possible. It’s also annoying being asked to pay $50 for a game that’s still in the final stages of bug testing and development.

Have you played the game? The game is not button bashing at all. What part other then the grapple hook is a button action? None. I actually enjoyed that game more than HLA . And software sells much better on the Quest than it does on steam that’s why developers stop making PCVR games. The PCVR games that we do get like Metro are built for the Quest and then upscaled and ported to PCVR and if there was no Quest, we wouldn’t get those games at all. And I’m a PCVR player but some of you guys have been in denial for years. And as far as resetting the user base and losing money, it’s a long-term investment. You have to establish a user base and an ecosystem first. Reality labs has literally lost billions of dollars which defeats your point of losing money not to mention they spent millions on Arkham shadow which also defeats your point that nobody spends millions of dollars for a user that’s going to be reset. You’re putting the cart before the horse. Do you honestly think that the Dev ‘s get to dev kits the same time consumers get the headsets

Better as hla? No way. To be honest guess i am the only one who gonna say this. I played 40% of batman and i think the game is overhyped. Blurry visuals, easy combat, empty worlds, repeatable. Half life alyx beats it in every way. Even half life 2 pcvr mod beats it any day. And to be honest asgard's wrath 2 on android vr beats this 10000 times. But hey batman is hype.

@@michelverheijen6643 honestly I love the half-life series. I played all the other VR mods half-life 2 episode 1 episode 2 and the original flat screen games. But other than it being VR and visually being stunning its not the best one in the series. The original writers of half-life were all gone when valve made HLA. I enjoyed Batman more than I enjoyed HLA 100%. And you’re not the only one to say that you didn’t love it there is a small group of people that agree , But it’s all a matter of opinion. The storytelling in Batman was some of the best I’ve ever seen in VR. HLA added very little to the half-life story. I still think it’s a VR master piece and one of the best games ever made but at the end of the day I had more fun playing Batman.

But guess since every information available before release was so positive i maybe expected the wow factor again i had the day i first played say asgard's wrath 1 and half life alyx with also all the hype factors before game release. Don't get me wrong it's a really good game(40% gameplay) and i must say great new style of combat in vr. But to be honest after playing for example hogwarts legacy or atomic heart with uevr in vr i got spoiled a little bit. And since pressing a button to open a door or open with full motion control Don't matter for me anymore after opening 100000000000 doors in vr bahahaha. Guess it's like a friend says to see the best movie ever made and you go and watch and expect to much and wanno love it to much and you know you are lying to yourself.

@@codyholbrooks4875 they literally giving you the game if you buy a quest 3 or 3s. How is it greedy to want to sell your new product and it runs on quest 2 but not very well. Why do you think facebook has lawsuits after lawsuits here in europe. So now when facebook even want younger kids in their datamining system the day of birth is needed or even forced for privacy! But google: facebook and privacy data and leaks and you know a lot more of this family friendly entertainment company bahahaha. Quest is great hardware oculus invented. Shame the riches buy out everything they can't come up with themself and change it in a product who feeds their shareholders pockets with kids pocketmoney. Facebook stinks and we all know it. Let me remind you how many game meta remove because they wanted to even though it was the most purchased game in the store. You might miss the news but meta doesn't give a f if you support them or not.

It may not come until 2026-7. It's been 4 years for each quest. I'm hoping valve releases a stand alone headset by then.

Why? Quest 3 ironically has been one of the most universally praised headsets, even often recommended by PCVR gamers who love the wireless PCVR and great pancake lenses. I mean, it's your choice in the end of course, but we won't see a next generation for at least a few more years.

@@TayoEXE Yeah it's probably gonna be a while. They're just starting to make games exclusive to the Q3, and you know the same thing will happen with the Q4. So they gotta let people get their money's worth before requiring a newer headset.

@@SteveKnows I have to say the haptics for the game are not bad as well, I use the pro controllers so Idk if there is a difference between the standard MQ3 controller vs Pro when it comes to the haptics. Using a Woojer oscillator you feel the impact from being hit which us wild in a fight. I don’t have a Woojer vest I just have the one big oscillator but I’m guessing that it’s pretty cool being hit from all sides.
