Asgards Wrath 2 is the only game that's kept my flame for standalone VR burning. Hope Oculus studios keeps pumping out more games made for the Quest 3. So tired of flat to VR ports, Party game roguelikes, and garbo PCVR ports.

Hell yeah that 1st fight against the griffin creature after you leave Valhalla had me hooked. The size of the creature and you holding the sword up and charging it and feeling it vibrate.

I pre-ordered my quest 3 so I’ve had it for a while now and the pancake lenses are definitely an upgrade. That being said with all of the noise about Fresnel lenses and the 3S it was honestly refreshing to hear somebody give a honest review about this headset without carrying on about pancake lenses. Since the announcement of the 3S the pancake lenses have been over exaggerated

@@MyNameJeff.. yeah he’s been invited many times before and has criticized them afterwards. Plus he’s not the only one to say it. Everyone who has tried has said the same thing. The Quest 2 never ran at native resolution because of the chipset it just didn’t have enough juice. The 3s does run at native resolution which makes it look better than the 2. I’ve had my 3 since launch but I may grab the 3s as a second head set. Honestly after getting Batman free and the $30 in store credit you’re only paying $220 for it.

The Quest 2 alone is responsible for a majority of the people that have headsets today. everybody loved those headsets but now overnight their garbage do you know how ridiculous you sound. Honestly compared to the Primax crystal the LCD displays on the quest 3 are garbage are you gonna throw away your quest 3 now😂

I bought PSVR2 first then I've seen Meta quest and cancelled my psvr2 order and bought meta quest 3 512 gb instead. I like it is a standalone thing can be used without any wires, and batman is exclusive there plus it's included with purchase. I've been using it for 2 days(Star wars games and asgards wrath are awesome) and man those upcoming games will make me stop playing games on PS5 and Series X on a flat screen lol

It seems to have elements of all that but definitely more focused on the action.the first Batman VR was cool but it was more of a tech demo than an actual game.this game will be closest related to Batman Arkham Asylum.the level design will be quite linear but it will leave a little room for exploration and taking out enemies in different ways

The games do sound great, but will they be finished when they’re released, or will they be the usual buggy mess that require weeks or months of post release updates to get them fixed up? Skydance still hasn’t finished development on Saints & Sinners Retribution for Quest. It’s like a buggy beta test even after all this time.

I have the Quest 3 and I love it but I’m definitely curious to see how much of an upgrade the Quest 4 will be over Quest 3..I can’t lie though,I’m very impressed with what Meta has been able to accomplish with the Quest 3.my first headset was PSVR1 and it’s amazing to see how much better the standalone Quest 3 is than PSVR1 which I had running on a PS4 Pro

Looking forward to Batman and Metro, but Behemoth is just The Climb, but instead of climbing cliffs you climb big giant moving beasts, and then having to keep an eye on your stamina all the time sounds like a pain to me.

This review put me off. I wasn't sure but now I definitely won't buy it "It's like a dance mat game"... why would they ruin the VR version with that "you have to do this sequence" nonsense... why... It was a horrible idea in regular Arkham games but it's the worst idea ever for a VR game. I don't want to follow any stupid sequence. I want fun combat that requires some skill / reflexes to make it a challenge. And I never want to sit through any non-playable cut-scenes ever again.

I Tried Behemoth on gamescom with a quest 3 and did not like it, the physics were janky ,and fps was low fighting the big giant Monster with adds..I wait for reviews for Pcvr and psvr2

Stop buying Fresnel headsets. They are completely out of date and put unnecessary strain on your eyes. Please think about your health and if you care about money then buy second hand Pancake Quest 3 but please don't use this outdated technology anymore - you will thank me for it. You shouldn't even consider something like this for your children. Their eyes are developing there, the Fresnel technology is so poor in clarity that they are a clear strain on the eyes and development. As a VR enthusiast, I tell you this from the heart. Meta made a mistake in saving money on the lenses.

I don’t believe fresnel is out of date. I use a quest 2 with PCVR and get no strain whatsoever. Remind you I’m pretty young. The ONLY difference I notice is when playing standalone games vs on even a budget PCVR setup, the pixels are non visible on PCVR but pretty visible on standalone. But with the quest 3s that shouldn’t be an issue.

One of these games is not like the other lol. I love skydance interactive but to put it up there with the batman IP and Metro IP is a big stretch to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm 99 percent the game will be good but AAA? No, I guarantee it won't be on the level of what I and most would consider a AAA title. Now if we're talking a "vr" AAA then I would agree....on the level of vr games next to most of the garbage out there it will look like an AAA game.

im pretty sure its gonna be the best out of the 3, and batman is probably the only one of the 3 that doesnt look like triple aaa. The fighting mostly look like following instruction and theres kinda only 1 set path to follow, doubt it will have much replay value, unlike the other 2

Simple fact is all vr games are lacking when it comes to AAA quality with the exception of actual AAA games like Resident Evil 8 etc...I'm just going by history and common sense. People say asgards wrath 1 and 2 were AAA, but as good as they were they were both lacking in actual gameplay and very pretty barren worlds. I'm also coming from a gamers perspective, not a vr gamers perspective. Two completely different things imo.
