Two of my so-called friends belittled my achievements, so I had to let them go even though the entire drama was painful.

If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream-and not make dreams your master; If you can think-and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’ If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And-which is more-you’ll be a Man, my son!

I'm having a very bad weekend, I feel overwhelmed in work, I'm alone working in a foreign country where I dont speak the language. I'm single and a virgin at 32. I have to work thanklessly all weekend on to catch up on some work I badly planned and i'm behind on. I have a sick family member in the hospital back home. I cried a bit listening to this.

This could be inspirational for a Superman intro. When I read this Poem by Kipling over 10 years ago, it didn't get everything across like hearing it does.

This is one of the most powerful and most important videos on youtube. I love Alan's wisdom and ever since I discovered his lectures in 2019, my view of life turned completely upside down and the so-called "normal" people seem a bit crazy now. 😂

Apparently unfortunately really CORRUPT LIARS (like the extremely corrupt guilty liars around me NOW & within the past 8 YRS that should’ve already been put on 24/7 surveillance, thoroughly investigated, DRUG TESTED, POLYGRAPHED & in jail/PRISON/ held accountable LONG AGO & the selfish liars behind the scenes) wrongfully don’t really truly care about anything unless they get a dirty dime for it or their low down dirty corrupt crap & CRIMES have risks of being DISCUSSED IN A REAL C-O-U-R-T-ROOM & obviously unfortunately do not stop lying & doing corrupt crap until they stop breathing altogether❗️Regardless of whoever or whatever I AM an INNOCENT legal citizen H-U-M-A-N BEING & I HAVE RIGHTS especially for a lawyer, court hearing & REAL HUMAN & LEGAL/CONSTITUTIONAL R-I-G-H-T-S (that even the worst guiltiest corrupt criminals & crooks undeservingly get & I have been & am being INHUMANELY DEPRIVED of for almost a decade too long already!)❗️REAL RIGHTS RIGHT NOW 🩻💯!

Let me tell ya'll, this video is IT! EVERYTHING he says is true. Take it from a completely debilitated 42 year old woman with C-pstd... born of a bar-whore Narc mom who never left her parents home, and STILL has no clue who my Father is, I exist simply because she "wanted a kid"- her exact words to my therapist at age 14.. my childhood was NOTHING but abuse. And I'm not talking about todays standards of " Oh, my mom looked at me without blinking for 3 seconds. I wanna REVOLT!"; naw, I got randomly repeatedly pummeled with a cast iron skillet, the t.v. cable, or whatever was handy when she went into Psycho mode for 19 y e a r s . So (of course), I went on to marry the very first guy who glanced in my direction- a man 16 years my senior, already divorced twice & living with his mommy (tho he didnt mention that part) at age 33. Well guess what, turns out he's a pathological LIAR, lazy & fake as helllllllll... he has been a Preacher for the past 10 YEARS, but is still the lazy, lying slob I've always known behind closed doors. 2 disrespectful & ungrateful teens later, here I am, now feeling EVEN MORE completely stuck , but I now realize in hindsight, I subconsciously set myself up for this miserable "life"

This poem is motivational in many ways, it gives you instructions and also shows you what might happen if you are on the right path, which is great for anyone who has gone through these phases. Infact I've also written motivational quotes on my channel while taking inspiration from these kinds of poetry in particular. I have taken those words or phrases which I say to myself while reading these kind of poems.

Even though Rudyard wrote this for his son, it also comes across as an ode to Christianity to me. That all the strength you need can be found within. That the light that can illuminate your path burns bright inside you. That last line is beautiful.

Christians believe all strength and love come directly and exclusively from our creator and savior Jesus Christ. Not from within oneself.

November 19th, 2023 Last time I wrote in here I was 22, 25 now. 3 years have gone by.. Life continues to be a confusing but beautiful endeavor .. I’ve felt lost, feel lost right now.. as I’m returning to this video.. Lived 2 years in San Francisco since last write in.. 3 year relationship just ended.. making major life changes and feeling lost .. Needing a reminder that it’s all okay.. moving South in 2 weeks to a new apartment, chasing new chances, new motives Crazy how much different of a human I am even 1,2 or 3 years later.. Same but different .. Have realized chasing happiness is the wrong route.. Inner peace and acceptance are the way through.. Enjoy what is .. Be okay with who you are and what you have .. more or less isn’t better or worse.. I have everything I need & forget this at times.. It begins within My parents have gotten older and that frightens me a lot .. don’t want to live without them here .. learning to accept that change is the only constant Random thoughts.. Much love Mr Watts for helping me re center
