The base game maps don't have many harvestable trees, so yeah, you would need to replant. Personally, I try to stick to forestry-inspired maps that have 20,000-40,000 trees instead. 😄😅

Yes and no, 😅 Base-game forestry don't require that many buttons, I agree. But for FS22 with mods like 'Wood Harvester Controls'' etc. most, if not all the buttons were in use. 😄 Hopefully the same or similar mods will be released for FS25 as well.

Unless you can get a single left or right hand (depending on what you are missing) T.16m, I would recommend the Farmstick. It has more buttons, and feels great in both hands. 😁

Yeah, that makes sense, but at least it's easy to work around by just grabbing a few fewer logs. 😅 I somewhat agree, FS25 is beautiful by all means, but forestry was in a good state in FS22. Now they definitely have a few kinks they need to sort out. 😄

For some reason, I couldn't switch between free mode and snapping, so I used wireframe mode instead. If you're playing on PC, you can activate this by enabling the developer console in the game xml and pressing F4 while in-game. 😄

It's on plot 23, just above the road on plot 26. 😁

Unfortunately, no. Not that I'm aware of. I also have to admit that I do not know the real-life controls of these machines. So, I just keybound the controls based on ISO excavators. This don't work properly for every machine available, though. My solution is to save a few keybind XML files for the different machines that differ. This way, I can quickly copy and paste the XML file, avoiding the need to manually adjust the keybinds each time. 😄

Yea, that's pretty much the same as my keybinds for the game. The only difference really, is rotating the crane tool is binded to the finger trigger instead of joystick left and right. 😄

For purely forestry I would stick with FS22 just for now, but the overall improvements of the graphics, sounds and new features makes me stay in FS25. 😄

Could it be due to the weight? The trees in this video are relatively thin and don’t weigh much. However, I did notice a bit of wobbling when the grapple was full. 😁

@Bambis_GamerHut no, even the heavy 13-meter trees in the later episodes don’t wobble as much as mine lol
