I'm not gonna pretend like I watched OG Smark Guys so my comparison is based on very little but as a dude that has wrasslin tism, Phil is dogshit at this. At least with Rambo, he actively watched wrestling that wasn't just WWE, his memes and jokes back then were probably still overused and unoriginal but they were also probably up-to-date, he was a tiny bit engaged, maybe it was just the Rambo factor. He's taken this weird subservient role to PPP so he offers very little friction and has very little to add because he hasn't kept up with ANYTHING. Him wondering if Penta was meant to be a ghoul or something because his outfit is skeleton themed is what you would ask if you never watched wrestling, but Phil HAS. PPP has to both take us through each segment of the show and play the role as the annoying guy that makes people want to reply, he's the host but also the clipbait/engagement guy. It's PPP's show, Phil is just there. If we were to look at this as the commentary team on an actual wrestling program, PPP is both the color commentator and the play-by-play guy, if we're talking about a 3-man team, he'd also be the athlete/veteran-commentator type too because he just has more functional knowledge. Phil is the guest commentator that doesn't really know anything and who has to specifically be thrown to in order to get anything substantial out of him. I don't think Phil really cares whether or not he's good at what he does, he's shown that for his entire legacy, but it'd be kinda interesting and cool if he tried to get better at any of the new shit he's doing.

In regards to the fires, it literally was their fault. They voted for people that kneecapped the state's ability to manage the environment and mitigate wildfires.
