Well the lean/peak breaks a LOT. I picked up the habit from suffering through Tarkov for a few wipes. lol But often times it breaks and your character simply won't lean, so it's honestly not the greatest habit to get into right now since sometimes you go to lean, expect it to work and nothing happens.

We had one server where someone was hiding inside SPK borking the mission by triggering the "retake SPK" mission every time we started to do the event. It was super annoying. Ended up server hopping and joining a group of a dozen or so that got it done.

@@GeoffBarnesHyperion its just anoying with those people. Hope the Reputation rework will reduce the amount of dippy players.

Personally, I dig the P4. I try a lot of other guns and I keep coming back to it. I like the LMGs but they are heavy and slow to ADS.

@@GeoffBarnesHyperion hey can't argue with what other players prefer, even if I can't see why. As long as I set the LMG's to single shot for less recoil while using the more boxy 4x optic I'm perfectly happy with either the fa9lmg and the demeco lmg and sometimes I do go full auto with the lmgs but only when I'm carrying the p6lr sniper rifle. But really have fun no matter what you use in game.

Did this game really focus on everything else except for the combat?

Not REALLY. This server we were on just had like... 14 people on it or some shit, and lots of times with a really low pop server the AI is on point.

They are like this for ages.. We just never had the server performance to support the AI.

@@DannyDi84 Absolutely this. In fact, I play a lot at extremely late hours (after 2am EST) and I get much closer to this level of performance a lot more during those hours. However I do still feel like they have made some small improvements for this event cuz this felt even more "alive" than normal. Still a long way to go to be really good, but it's definitely feeling better.

@@GeoffBarnesHyperion with 3.22 came an update to bring the AI closer to the SQ42 AI.

I was mostly joking. Yeah. This is just the AI actually... doing anything. lol It just caught us off guard cuz normally they don't even realize you are there until you shoot them, but this time they were able to shoot at us through the snow from 200 meters and we were just ill equipped. lol I'm hoping it gets good in the future, but the truth is this is just the AI doing anything when the server is low population.

To be fair enemy AI in the gaming industry hasn't really improved for years. In fact I'm pretty sure most game studios have been dumbing them down. Imo the peak is still Half Life 1 AI.

It's really not enough in my opinion. Some people don't care about Scav Karma or being hunted. Some people go in as Scavs to shoot scavs, so having AI scavs come at them is just more fun. I get why that logic doesn't make sense because they are "punishing themselves" but that's literally what people do it say. They don't care about the timer cuz they only play their scav when their PMC is recovering or they don't feel like eating/drinking and just want to fuck around. All they are looking for is more fights in their down time so the timer doesn't mean dick. They need a punish that actually affects them. If you fall into the negatives you shouldn't be allowed to Scav or use car extracts (they are Fence's scavs driving you out and no scav is gonna trust you if your PMC keeps sending scavs out into the field to kill fellow scavs) and you shouldn't get ordinary Fence rep for using the co-op extracts. Instead, the only way to earn your way back into the positives is to complete a quest of extracting X number of times through the co-op extracts to "prove you can be trusted again", then it resets your Fence rep to 0. If you fuck up again, you just don't get a second Fence quest and lose the cars and your Scav for the rest of the wipe. People who don't want to engage in scav gameplay the way BSG clearly intends (if they are going to have a mechanic punish for being a "Bad scav") repeatedly then you just shouldn't get a scav.

I do agree that the game needs to explain it better and I do believe SOME people are just new and confused. I suspect my other video with the guy in the house he was just confused and scared. That does happen. I shot a scav by accident the other day cuz I was scared and confused (and dumb lol) but there is a certain segment of the population that plays their scav just to do more killing and it really sucks that you as a fellow scav have to trust that they won't shoot first. You have zero recourse to a bad scav up until the moment he hits you. In a game where getting one tapped happens a lot, that's just not cool. Hell, in my other video in the house, I lost scav karma because I successfully defended myself against a scav shooting at me because he couldn't aim.

No dude! Totally appreciated! The ONLY reason I'm popping those Zagustins all the time, they last three minutes and I don't usually last three minutes in factory. Haha. It's late wipe and I have a ton of shit left over. lol So I just pre-stim before every raid now. :P I'm just throwing gear away cuz this patch is almost over. I'm definitely still learning Factory a little, but your help and advice is totally appreciated! Sadly, I don't have EOD and for at least a little while I hear they plan to restrict offline co-op to people with EOD. But hopefully they will open it up to "lesser accounts" in the future. Haha. I'd really like to learn the maps and practice moving through them as a team with some of my friends who have a little more experience in a lower risk environment. But I guess I'll just have to hurl myself at it like I did this wipe and "get gud". :P Thanks for the comment and advice!

@@squirrellordsgaming2772 It's fun. Be aware it still has a LOT of problems and the ebb and flow of how well it's working comes and goes. Right now, for example, on the PTU it's a mess. The servers won't stay running for more than an hour or two usually. But that should be sorted out soon. Some patches are super playable, others are super dicy. But I've been a backer since 2013 and I can tell you the progress they've made is incredible and it'll just take some more time before a really amazing product is on their hands.

@@squirrellordsgaming2772 I've had my Cutlass for a while. I love it. It's just a really nice size. It's quick and it doesn't take forever to pull it out of port or off a planet, but it's not too small so you can actually fit cargo in it. Basically it's not so big that it's annoying to use, but it's not so small that it has no gas tank and can't store anything. It'll serve you well. I'm currently waiting for the Corsair to come out, I have one on my account, but it's not finished yet. :P

I honestly don't know. I was poking around in here for a little bit before I started recording and before that, I had to run back home and get a hazmat suit and then it was still on the map when I logged off like 20 - 30 minutes later I think. So... a while. lol

Yes! Isn't that crazy? And all those effects simply fall out because the engine calculates atmosphere properly to cause light scattering. It boggles the mind.

If anything, I was even more impressed that, in less than five minutes, a single person built up terrain and installed a landing zone that compares favourably to locations in released games. Good ones, too, not just the poorly-made stuff. It's a great way to convince people that it won't be as barren as things like NMS or Elite.

+shadowsa2b The entire interior and particularly the back area is getting redesigned. I wouldn't count on anything being where it's going to remain. I know for a fact the latest plan was to put the docking hatch in a sealed compartment at the back of the ship, roughly where the tractor beam would be right now. lol
