I would have taken a sniper rifle and engaged from long distance. You didn't have any good cover, and it doesn't help that the AI have unlimited ammo. They don't even have to pause to reload.

Not REALLY. This server we were on just had like... 14 people on it or some shit, and lots of times with a really low pop server the AI is on point.

They are like this for ages.. We just never had the server performance to support the AI.

@@DannyDi84 Absolutely this. In fact, I play a lot at extremely late hours (after 2am EST) and I get much closer to this level of performance a lot more during those hours. However I do still feel like they have made some small improvements for this event cuz this felt even more "alive" than normal. Still a long way to go to be really good, but it's definitely feeling better.

Dude ive got maybe a hundred of these weakass p4ar's and only use them when i dont have shit else to use. In the majority of the shit i get into in star citizen just like in real life the more ammo i have the better i feel going into any situation. So why if even the fs9lmg nkw has an ammo count of 75 rounds why the hell wouldn't eithet of these guys take one of these each and a p6lr sniper rifle with them for these kinds of missions! The p4ar doesn't in my opinion with less ammo in the mags make the videos any more bad ass looking at the end of the day! Makes you seriously look like you're trying too damn hard to look better then it seems like you are!

Personally, I dig the P4. I try a lot of other guns and I keep coming back to it. I like the LMGs but they are heavy and slow to ADS.

@@GeoffBarnesHyperion hey can't argue with what other players prefer, even if I can't see why. As long as I set the LMG's to single shot for less recoil while using the more boxy 4x optic I'm perfectly happy with either the fa9lmg and the demeco lmg and sometimes I do go full auto with the lmgs but only when I'm carrying the p6lr sniper rifle. But really have fun no matter what you use in game.

I was mostly joking. Yeah. This is just the AI actually... doing anything. lol It just caught us off guard cuz normally they don't even realize you are there until you shoot them, but this time they were able to shoot at us through the snow from 200 meters and we were just ill equipped. lol I'm hoping it gets good in the future, but the truth is this is just the AI doing anything when the server is low population.

To be fair enemy AI in the gaming industry hasn't really improved for years. In fact I'm pretty sure most game studios have been dumbing them down. Imo the peak is still Half Life 1 AI.
