Thank you so much. My son has a lot ADD/ADHD symptoms and gets in trouble all the time. He is allowed fidget toys but they all seem to make a lot of noise and ostracizes him from the other kids in class. I’ll be making him a fidget bag of things for school and one that is a little louder for home. Thank you so much!!❤

Wow….many of these I already use and have used since grade school. I was recently diagnosed with ADD late as an adult and trying to find quiet options as my coworkers are sensitive to noises. I use the candy wrappers, rubber bands, erasers, disassembling pens and reassembling pens, click empty mechanical pencils inside my sweater pocket, fidget with the folds in my jeans and roll the ends of my shirts. Thank you for sharing your ideas. I need to try the dice and marbles!!

Thanks for this. I'm in the process of getting diagnosed, very late in life. Such a relatable video. Oddly, I was just thinking how calming your voice is when you mentioned it in a negative light. If there's one ADHD thing you don't have to worry about, it's your voice! Thanks again

I used to use a clicky ballpoint pen, on which, in the clicked position, the little clicky nub thing at the end would move and softly rattle when I tilted the pen back and forth. I did that, holding it close to my ear and no one ever noticed.

i feel so rude to type this but how can anyone be this cute? 🥲😍 it is so strange because i can listen to you so well because you have such a soft way to speak but i still can't concentrate on what you are saying and have to repeat parts over and over again. usually i am not listening at all, which explains why i have to go back 30 seconds to a minute in a video, but this one hits different. 😄 so glad my sister sent me your video. we both have ADHD. 💃

I struggle to listen to something and read at the same time, so I put on a video while I study, then I have to pause it while I read and doing certain types of work I also struggle if I'm listening to something, so then I actually focus on it while it's paused because I literally paused to do the work

Ive been trying to find all different videos about tips to try to help with homework focus and self discipline for adhd and they all repeat the same things which just aren’t super effective for me. I really appreciate that you added the tip about only having a light on your homework bc it helps you. I like that it wasnt something everyone is saying. Im gonna try that and hopefully it helps

Yeah, mate. I’m hugely unaware of my internal states unless it’s extreme - rage, joy etc. I’m so sensitive to other’s emotions, though, that I tend to avoid people contact so they don’t blow my circuits. I think you have a very clear understanding and awareness of ADHD. Nice listening to you. Take care, mate.

Instead of getting those kind last bursts of energy I get these quick bursts where I get this overwhelming tingly feeling everywhere where it feels like I just injected myself with 60 cups of coffee, and the only way to get rid of it is to flex every muscle in my body and make these weird faces because it if just how it looks. Does anyone know what that is?

I have adhd and yeh... im like 14 and in upper secondary (I got in there somehow.. i dont know how.. Im not really that gud) But like... I also have trouble with focusing and deadlines and I forget VERY easily. I used to do bullet journalling.. I justs topped cuz I lost motivation so instead now I just have a big pice of paper on the wall and paste a bunch of random sticky notes with To Dos and hw 'neatly' and made it look so cute so I wont get overwhelmed and not do it :)

Hey girl have you tried guanfacine for night time ? It's a non stimulate medication approved for adhd and also a blood pressure medication. I read on reddit alot of those who take Adderall in the day appreciate the balance guanfacine brings them. Maybe it's worth looking into if you haven't already. Great video!🇧🇷🤸♀️
