When I was still a beginner, I managed to attain a slice and one hundred fifty yards by conducting a normal drive. After mastering these golf swing secrets , Jοmtοnο Naha (Go ogle it) Now I strike drives between two hundred and 220 yards and occasionally longer. Today, my handicap is 16 compared to when I was beginning with 26. Get this guide now and do not miss the opportunity.

7 years already went by when I began playing and all those years were filled with practices and training lessons. Learning these golf swing strategies , Jοmtοnο Naha (Go ogle it) authorized me to shot a seventy-five after a couple of buckets. Today, I`m more knowledgeable regarding grip, ball position, through swing drills, and much more golf concepts. My handicap is starting to decrease as well from 13. This guide is extremely good!

Is there a word for that part of the movement where the legs flex backward?
@PowerCore360
@PowerCore360 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jesse In anatomical terms you have said it, it's knee flexion. To keep it simple with the athletes, we often just tell them to bring the feet up towards their buttocks and then kick the feet down to start the unwinding motion of the body to hit the ball.

@@jessethomas9676 We refer the the overall body position that the lower leg/feet help create as the "Reverse Power C" as many top vball hitters get into this position in the air in their set-up. Many other sports coaches use this term as well as other sport athletes will get into similar position. If you want to email me [email protected] I can send you picture of Reverse Power C position I'm referring to...

Coach, I like a few of the keys in this video, but the landing confuses me. Do they land in this way just for skill re-enforcement purposes OR is this the way you think a player should land every time they attack? Landing perpendicular to the net with your back facing the court may be the safest way to land but that good for volleyball play. If a player hits into the block and then needs to immediately transition off the net, they would have their back facing the court and couldn't watch the next play develop. Please clarify. Thanks!
@PowerCore360
@PowerCore360 5 жыл бұрын
Hello; there's a couple reasons why we like this technique (landing facing left post). 1) it allows full body rotation which increases power and ball velocity (simple more engines developing greater force, power & arm/ball speed); 2) when they rotate past the net it allows an athlete to load back into their hips and hamstrings which is key in protecting the knees (specifically anterior cruciate ligament which is so vulnerable in female athletes); when athletes land facing the net, especially when landing close to the net, the head can't really move forwards very far which limits bending/loading back in to the hips in the landing, as a result the athletes knees move forwards first which doesn't load/engage the hamstrings, so the athlete's knees are highly susceptible to ACL injuries. I've trained volleyball players over the past 20 years and my personal bias is to protect the athletes knees/body (as I've seen ACL injuries ruin knees and careers over the years). I'd much rather give up a point than a knee and a career and have the person have knee issues the rest of their lives.... 3) Final thought is that so many volleyball players land without bending their ankles, knees and hips which is pretty much a pre-requisite for playing a blocked or tipped ball. When they land in a good athletic position (with ankles, knees and hips bent/loaded) they're actually in a much better position to move their body and play a block/tip (albeit I realize they may not be facing the ball as much as would be ideal).

@@PowerCore360 I understand what you are saying in terms of injury prevention but you don't really answer my question. If you land with your back facing the court it will effect whether the attacker is involved properly on defense AND on quick offense if the ball is blocked. Can you show me a video of athletes in match play doing your technique. I saw you work with Front Range volleyball and I think it would be helpful to see your techniques in live game play. Thanks!

Well there are good parts as well in it. But I can/t get it, why the wrist of the hitting hand should be so low. Since I want my players to use all parts of the movement that could improve the "highness" off the jump and that for the hight they are able to hit the ball, i want them to use al nice double armswing and than turn the palm to the outside to get the ellbow back and high. In the same movement they get the shoulders back and prepare the muscels of the core for the hit. But i Totally agree with the fast hipturning, the relaxed wrist

At 2:10, when coach takes a swing, he keeps his left arm bent (properly) which keeps the right arm in the power 'L' shape. You can see this left arm shape @ 3:58 & 6:32, again. . He can then drive thru the ball, powerful release and 'keep the head down thru the swing'. Mike is struggling with this because he is barring his left arm too early. @ 4:00, Mike takes a swing. @ 4:04, just as he loads, he begins to bar his left arm rather than keep it bent (like at setup). The left arm gets longer which causes a lifting of the shoulders (and head). The mind makes that slight adjustment to get the barrel on the ball. Now, the next swing @ 4:11 is terrific. Mike starts his rotation... bars the arm but get some bend back in it, @ 4:14... rotates much better thru the hitting area, right arm is power 'L' at contact, the head stays down like coach wants. The next few swings get better. The @ 4:35 swing is terrific: compact, powerful, accelerating bat thru the ball... you can hear the crack of the bat. The best swing is @ 4:38! Mike removed the band and takes a good swing. He bars the arm at launch but gets some bend back into it. The structure @ 4:40 is awesome! Left elbow is just below the chin (like to see it little higher), right arm is total power 'L' and not over extended when the left arm is on plane... perfectly lined up with the ball. Mike's right shoulder is staying down, then thru and it's easy to stay down if you keep the proper bend in the leading arm. Mike gets a 'There it is!' from coach. Nice job. Jump up @ 9:45 for the 'That ball was crushed!' swing. Mike doesn't bar the arm at launch, left elbow is chin level @ 9:48 and the head stays down, no problem, and the extension after contact is the best. And, that ball was crushed!! Good work! Hitting a baseball with purpose, precision and power is as technical as a great golf swing, or a world class skier putting his skis on edge.

Love it! As a former boxer this type of hip movement comes very natural to me. I'm studying volleyball at the moment and (as a sports science student) nobody taught us this. I wasn't sure whether it'd be "correct technique" to use it, since nobody in my course does it. Now I know better and will be able to put my existing movement experience to good use and increase my Volleyball hitting power. Thank you so much coach!
