Thank you for the video. We weren't at Gencon to watch the In-Flight report and didn't tune in to the livestream, so this video was perfect for us to get the highlights without having to sit through 45 minutes of cringey jokes and waffling courtesy of FFG. We have been spared. Thank you!!

Nice to hear there is a new AHLCG campaign in the works, although the FFG site has nothing on it. (They still show Forgotten Vale as "in progress" 🙄.) Was there any hint at the Con as to when we might see this new set? 🙏 Personally I wish FFG would do an Egyptian/Black Pharaoh campaign for the card game - it's one of the few original HPL settings they haven't done much with up to now. 🤞

Thanks for this. This is one of the key things that had me wondering if i was going to pick up a copy. I like a little bit of asymmetry and had the issue that all clans performed the same.

Thanks, man. I hope to god they will make a second edition AH:LCG after Drowned City. I just got in, I'm finishing Dunwich and already the amount of confusion the card texts generate begs for a more clear game dictionary (e.g. 'while card effect lasts' - wtf?).

A bit dull, for me. Luckily, I've Cthulhu: DMD chapters 3 and 4 coming, plus Final Girl 3. Used to be FFG were always the first port of call for new stuff, not so much anymore..........

So in other words all they announced was the same old same old. What was once a great company dwindling down to handful of games. Most of them a rehash. Stopped buying FFG games years ago. Some of the big hype games I never bought (thankfully) are now dead.

Unfortunately it was a completely underwhelming event. Way too much time was spent on card accessories. FFG is a shadow of its former self.

5:11 - Greetings from Russia. Arkham LCG has become an absolute hit here and is selling like hotcakes. Dunwich is sold out, people are waiting for the new edition of the campaign.

Same. It's not the most expensive hobby compared to other games like MTG or WH40K, but I don't want to think about how much I spent in total XD

@@xenoblad Agreed. One of the reasons I love it is the lack of having to buy packs over and over again only to get cards worth pennies. Everyone has access to the same cards at the same time with no pay to win. Friend just spent $100 on like 1 character for Warhammer. Thats a whole new campaign right there!

Hope, someday, FFG will release the acrylic token set for Arkham Horror: the Card Game. There will be 10 years anniversary in 2026 so maybe that would be a good time 😁😁😁Cheers

This being what L5R is now is a travesty on par with the _10,000 Years of Darkness_ event. I had the HIGHEST of hopes for the TRPG release...now it's just another dust-collecting Non-D&D RPG book.

Just bought the game off of Amazon, sealed. It arrived and after excitedly unboxing it and popping out all of the counters, I checked the decks. I had two copies of the gathering 😭 and am missing one of the other scenarios in its place.

You're playing as one of the FFG characters rather than one you make yourself, the Arkham Horror setting where at least some of the horror comes from the appearance of wokeness in the 1930s, and I suspect it's much more on-rails than CoC. It's being done by the same people who did "End of the World" for FFG years ago. Those were such a cool idea, but when I read the rules it just didn't seem all that playable.

I played Joe for the first time and my Weakness appeared during the round when I had Dissonant Voices in my threat area! So there was literally nothing I could do (as far as I am aware) to avoid the -2 XP. So unlucky. Great investigator though.

Another fantastic source of information about the city of Arkham is the "board game" Beareu of Investigation. I put board game in quotes because it's more of a freeform Investigation puzzles, part of the Sherlock Holmes Colsulting Detective line of games.
