bro - I like your story- coming from a similar position- I played local club- played highschool- played at two colleges, five different coaches in 4 years- balled out and was captain my Jr & senior year as a left footed centerback (my tape doesn't lie :) )- has a purpose of why you do what you do. My purpose is to coach- All I gotta say is move in silence- still post but don't make vids like these- its adds fuel to the fire for your haters (I am not one)- focus on still getting better- doing what you do best- if you see a negative comment, just reply "thankyou or I see" and move on- your nitch is posting quality videos of you training, working out/lifting, and playing in games and that's that- if people ask "what level pro or who's your team," just say the team and move on. Your end goal is to go pro and that should be your only focus- nothing else- post videos to still inspire the next gen and for you to look back on and say "wow I did that. that was cool" -this is just some advice- keep doing you and focus solely on you- much respect

I don’t really care too much for outside opinion - I’m gonna be honest about what my situation is and not pull any punches, that’s what more people need to do in sports. Thanks for the advice and the support & good luck on your coaching journey!

Isn’t USL league 1 better league than NISA?
@braadyoneill5 күн бұрын
It definitely is considered to be. But with the dumb way US soccer works (no promotion/relegation) we have multiple leagues that are given “3rd division” status. So technically they are the same “level”, but the general consensus is that league one is better

Im also in a weird position, Im 15 and play for my ECRL team and ODP and highschool varsity teams. I am struggling to stand out but a good performance at an ODP game vs georgia landed me a trial with Minnesota United in the summer of 2026. Ive always been a grinder and train everyday whether by myself or with my teams. My dream is to go pro one day. The one thing thats hurting me is my height but ive been told by doctors I will grow late and reach above 6 foot still waiting for that but until then Im practicing for my trial and trying to make my ECNL team and ODP reigional team. Any advice on preparing for my trial or ECNL tryout thank you for inspiring me and love your videos.

Hey man. I watch a lot of soccer vloggers like yourself and you're def one of the modest ones out there. I won't name names, but some of these MLS academy youtube clowns talk like they play for Man city. Here's my perspective as a 52 yr old former Big east player back in the day pre MLS and as someone old enough to be your father. lol. Life is indeed short, you only have a small window in which your body will allow you to chase your dreams. Them be some facts! However, with that said, I watched a lot of players chase it for too long and it hurt them financially later on in life. I have no idea what your situation is. You could be inheriting millions for all I know, which would allow you to pursue the game longer than most. But usually around 25, you kinda want to be thinking about how your going to sustain yourself finanically in the long run. And as a former player, healtcare is a real thing. My knees are fucking shot! lol. Prob will need surgeries eventually, so insurance is important. If you can stay involved in the game and earn a living, great! Wether it be playing, coaching, running camps, whatever. But sooner or later bill will need to be paid. That's my advice young man.

I hope things get better for you man. If you don't mind me asking, how did you become a professional? Did you play through college or come up through an academy? I am in high school myself, and I am way behind all my peers since I started playing later. I'm training every day, and I've seen improvements, but sometimes I still doubt myself, especially when I see players my age in pro academies or playing for pro clubs like Bournemouth, etc. Do you have any advice on what is the most effective way to train, or what aspect of your game is the most important? Thanks. Edit: btw i love become elite, thats awesome u got to meet him irl

@ my journey was a bit strange. I played club and Latin league most of my youth career until I was a 2015 Sueno MLS finalist. That got me into LA Galaxy academy where I trained for a few weeks! Then from there I played D1 soccer at Valparaiso university for 2 years, but I dropped out to play academy in Brazil. All the U20 guys ended up going to the first team, including me. From there I went to Europe, played 3rd and 2nd division in countries like Latvia and Croatia. From there, I moved back to Brazil, where I played 2nd division state level soccer, which is fully pro. Now I’m in off-season but it doesn’t get any easier to break into the US market
@hamidbabaali108 күн бұрын
Everyone’s level will be different, if you can work on every aspect of your game while having 1 or 2 “X factors” that will get you where you need to go. Train consistently, do as much on the ball as you possibly can, and don’t let your fitness decline. Play a ton on the streets and in pickup games, and this can help you reach the levels you want to achieve
@iamspenver8 күн бұрын
