Awesome vlog ! I would just recommend you to shoot 30 fps because those drone footage look very jittery (probably because you shoot 24 fps)

@paulthiebaut5 күн бұрын
@@eliastcobb5506 You might shoot drone footage at 60 fps but are you exporting your project in 60 fps ? Because then it doesn't matter if you shoot 60 fps if you export at 24 fps, the video will display at 24 fps and so your drone footage too !
@eliastcobb55065 күн бұрын
@@paulthiebaut oh, sorry. Your comment said “shoot in” so I was referencing what I actually shoot in, which is 60fps on the drone. I do export in 23.976 because I love the look of it vs 30fps, but I suppose that’s all personal preference:)
@paulthiebaut5 күн бұрын
@@eliastcobb5506 Yeah it's definitely just about taste, I know everyone advocates 24 fps because it's the cinema standard look :) But one thing to keep in mind for KZbin is most people who watch your video are on their smartphones or computers (60Hz refresh rate) and 24 fps drone footage really looks jittery on 60 Hz displays since there is a lot of motion. At the end of the day if you want to favor your a7iv footage instead of drone it's just about compromises !

Circumstances brought me back to Dallas and after things weren't the same there anymore without my parents, I decided to move back to Utah for good. My buddy Nick and I have seen so many things and we will see so many more things until it's his last day. All that to say don't ever miss the opportunity to spend time with your dog. I've been dipping into your channel since I stumbled on it a couple of weeks ago - I left a brief comment previously. I watch alot of hiking, nature and similar videos - but rarely find content as good as this and have really been blown away by your channel. Your filming and drone scenes are often epic, visuals spectacular, the camera really likes you personally (you have looks suited for a TV anchor or similar) and you have a genuine, authentic enthusiasm and character that comes across in your narration. Some of the personal videos you shared on depression and life circumstances were bravely and very honestly done and will connect with and help others in similar circumstances. Just wanted to say a big thank you for sharing such high quality content, let you know how much enjoyment I (and I’m sure many others) take from it, and encourage you to keep on with it. I really hope the mysteries and luck of the algorithms will allow you get some recompense that is commensurate with the effort, time and quality of your output. Your dog (Goku?) is a cheeky charmer too :-)

My issue is that Davinci doesn't see the dng edits of the file that I exported from Lightroom - it's as if it only sees what the original raw file looked liked. I confirmed the edits are there in the dng because if I open in Photoshop I can see it - even if I open it with windows file viewer the edits show up. But not in Davinci.

Beautiful place. Can't wait to go back and explore more. I'm glad you and your best friend did an adventure instead of sitting home on Thanksgiving. I look at holidays as time to spend them however you want. It is different for everyone and there is no right or wrong way to spend them. Just be happy in whatever you choose, so good for you!
