This is part 2 of exploring some of Utah's more hidden gems.
I found myself changing plans last minute and work up in Snow Canyon State Park, just 20 minutes north of St. George. This place blows my mind because it feels like a national park, but it's a state park! I didn't have too much time to spend here, so I spent my time on the Butterfly Canyon trail to catch a sunrise.
I would highly recommend a sunrise hike in this park as the light hitting the red and white cliffs at golden hour is absolutely amazing.
This park doesn't seem to be well known, and I believe it's an absolute must if you're visting Utah.

Snow Canyon is my favorite place in Utah. Now that I live here, my dog and I go every week to watch the sunrise. Even when it’s hot in SG, it’s cool in the mornings there.

I drove right through here on a road trip a few years ago and didn't know that this even existed. Added it to the bucket list for my next southwest trip! Appreciate it!

I'd be careful divulging too much information about the places you visit... Too many people catch wind of cool places that are "not guarded" often result in people ruining it for everyone else, and before you know it, people flock, leave trash behind and destroy landscapes, then there's strict enforcement. Really nice place though, and excellent photos, as always my friend.

We've only driven through Utah and stopped in Ogden for an afternoon, we for sure have to get back over there and explore. It seems like such an interesting place and while tourism there has certainly increased in the last few years, I feel like it hasn't gotten over run yet. Of course that's just my opinion since we haven't really been there yet haha. Absolutely beautiful footage, thanks for bringing us along! - Andrew, Candice, and Riley 🐾

Appreciate all the kind words! I love Utah because of how vastly different it feels everywhere you go. The big parks are floooooded with people, but still fun! But that’s what’s so cool about Utah, if you don’t want to see the crowds there’s plenty of places outside of them to go explore:)
