I was trying to refer to his great OC Will Stein and slipped up a bit- nothing too concerning though because I think Will Stein is ELITE at what he does!

I said it is a potential weakness with the amount of inexperiance in the room- I think the room will be fine, but the inexperiance there troubles me

@@BIG10_Quicktalk Very true but WR at OSU is never a weakness. I’m not sure how much you keep up with OSU spring ball they think J smith might be better than Egbuka right now. I know it’s sounds crazy but that kids going to shock people.

Tate played a lot last season. Not sure why you made the snide comment about one catch in cotton bowl. Tate and Egbuka returning means the experience level is fine. Brandon Inniss played last year too.

Exactly! To make an accurate video, you have to watch about an hour of film or do about an hour of investigation for every minute of your KZbin video. I do give him some credit though. He definitely made some effort. He isn’t an idiot, just needs to watch a little more film, on each individual player that is returning or joining the team, as a transfer. I agree that Dillon Gabriel should win the Heisman, or at least be the runner up, if he stays healthy.

It’s just you probably should’ve done a little more background work on Dan Lanning and his origins at Georgia and how the team has been constructed the last few years but I get it. I like the breakdown overall . There was just a few things wrong with talking about Dan Lanning, and how our overall team is constructed.

Lanning was Georgia's DC a mere 3 years ago.

He really isn’t though…not yet anyway. He’s probably the best sophomore center, but he’s not “elite”

Look: I never said that Poncho is bad or wont be good- I think with time he will be elite and a top center in a year or two: but to say he is elite right now, I cannot justify that. I think he is solid but he is not elite YET- but by the end of this year I expect him to be near elite or elite. Appreciate the thoughts!

@@BIG10_Quicktalk because you don’t know enough about the guy that Duck fans have seen get game reps and dominate then dominate in the Spring and has every coach and the Rimington award saying he’s elite and special. He may not be Parker Brailsford, but he’s probably the second best center in college football.

@@ABreadlessDuck he’s only started one game against Liberty. And a spring game? C’mon…You can’t call him elite based on that sample size. He probably will get there, but he needs to prove it first.

I honestly don't know, rebranding at this stage in the game is probably a pain, plus the big 10 (to me) sounds better than the big 18 haha

We picked up a reliable kicker from Oregon State who only missed one FG last year and it was from the 40-49 yd range where he still went 5-6 on the year. A definite upgrade from Cam last year. If there's any worry for Oregon it's at safety and that's not from lack of talent, only depth. That said with this D line and the LB/CB room there's few teams, if any, that will be able to allow the QB enough time to make deep passes that'll test the safety room to begin with.

We probably have the fastest and smartest LBs, but Bassa isn’t the greatest tackler. I’m excited to see Jackson play.

Riely Leonard definitely is not elite, but he most definitely does NOT suck. Drew Allar on the other hand has severely underachieved leading me to really doubt their offensive capabilities. This was not a final top 25 as more will be coming before the start of the season!

Ohio St. was playing Lincoln Kienholz and an offense with many holes in it. This is 100% a different team than last year. Mizzou earned their win, but it was the Mizzou #1s vs the Ohio St 2s and 3s

@@BIG10_Quicktalk I think you have a point, but the big boys up front weren’t 2s and 3s. Ohio state is 1-13 vs SEC in bowl games now I think that says a lot. I love that mizzou is in your top 10 btw

@@Beaver22Ryan It is a program issue now: Ohio St. can't seem to shake Michigan and the SEC, and they need to do both in order to achieve their goals. I don't think Mizzou is as deep and good Defensively, but they brought in enough on D to make me feel like they are a top 10 team (I am already a believer in their offense, so the defense was the only question mark

@@BIG10_Quicktalk I’m obviously an SEC homer but I really do like Ryan Day, he’s elite. Hopefully Chip Kelly fixes his issues. I hope our D can click with the new guys we brought in. Everyone loves our O but don’t underestimate how much Brady Cook can screw something up. He’s the elephant in the room for us. The O-Line looked questionable in spring game too. -Do me one favor and kick Kansas outta here !! Haha

I definitely trust Mike Norvell more than other coaches who command top tier programs!

Just a different point of view. I don’t got by average ranking. Just how I think Nebraska and USC could be ranked higher, I think OU could also be ranked higher but I need to see it in season to believe it. Appreciate the thought!

Best in SEC, imo they will be tied with Ohio St. For the best overall. Ohio St. Has a better overall roster which is why I gave them the edge, but it’s splitting hairs at this point. Appreciate the thought!

@@BIG10_Quicktalk In a battle between those fighting for money, verses those fighting for country, I go with country. Kirby wants those who fight for what they believe in, rather than those looking primarily for a big payday. We all know how OSU got their roster ($$$$). Think some who work really hard for a much less payday might not feel a bit slighted? Kirby doesn't play that game. Such ruins team cohesion. When Bear Alexander tried playing Kirby by demanding more playing time, he didn't get what he wanted and hit the portal, though UGA probably would have won it all had they had Bear last year, as our D line wasn't up to standard. Still, Kirby sent a message others hear. To those wishing to play for more than just the cash, that means something. As it should - no matter the school.

A topic for a whole vid, but long story short the roster is sneaky good but a wicked schedule. 6-6 best scenario, my early prediction is 4-8/5-7.

True. But Michigan’s in that same boat, to be fair.

The Defense was ranked 7th fyi, and that will drop with the amount of decent offenses they will play compared to last year when every offense they played was legit crap. Offense will get better cause it was soooo bad last year, but I’m not a believer in Cade McNamera, and their skill positions I believe are the worst in the BIG. Iowa will win some games don’t get me wrong, but Iowa won’t win more than 8. I will provide an in depth explanation when my team specific Iowa video will drop.

@@BIG10_Quicktalk you said they lost alot which is false. The only real defensive person that would made a impact was cooper dejean but they are all back and I just read that they have everyone back and they project them as the number one defense or near the top and its funny because they are deep at running back and tightends are one the best in the country. Cade has struggled with injuries but he is a competitor and the northwestern transfer qb is alright and I will love how you guys act like you know everything you have always been critical of iowa when they have been a top program according to the statistics.

All the names you give are young or backups, I never said that the skill position was bad, I just said that I have concerns about their depth. I will be doing full team breakdowns soon after my top 25 releases and I promise you USC is near top of the list. Fight on!

@@BIG10_Quicktalk they are all starters.. did you see the spring game... digging that hole even deeper, I know USC doesn't put names on the back of jerseys like most other teams but its pretty clear they are all starters.

Are you considering schedules? They’re becoming really imbalanced. Doesn’t change how good a program is, but it does change the perception and likelihood of getting selected. Also, I believe there still needs to be at least one team from a fifth conference.
