No, he sold his Garcia and built a small and simpler sailboat to live with his wife and to travel on canals. Search his name on KZbin and you'll find an interview with him showing the boat, it's pretty amazing. Edit: sorry about any English mistakes

Brilliant video filled with so much knowledgeable first hand experience presented in an informative and interesting format. I have a new to me Garcia Passoa 47 and the amount I learned about my own boat from this particular video is priceless. Thank you! A suggestion for a future video is to expand a bit more on heavy weather sailing techniques and think about going retro with your earlier models. There are stories there.

Easy does it with the schadenfreude Pete. Those of us without a few million to spend on a new Garcia, have to live with the compromises that living on a budget entails. That said. Lots of useful ideas which I hope to incorporate into my next boat.
