Shoutout to the camera person. Also, no show boating, no fancy gimmicks or stuff, just straight riding and video. Much respect. Also wearing proper protection and clothes. Man I want one so bad. Maybe one day they will import. The speed gauge is in kilometers per hour or KPH for those unaware.

Remember, its a system just to work in case and not to let the luck on it. Personaly i always (out of rain) ride with ktrc closed because i know one day it will not do his work and i die young because of a system that failed, its better to die because i failed and i trust my self more than it. Out of rain, i use it on rain and i like it BUT only ride just to go somewhere, if i fun ride on rainy road i still turn it off. Do not completely trust an electric system more than your self. Good luck 🌹

MT-07 or XSR700 with upgraded suspension would get you around that track quicker than either.

For me it's 1. Speed Twin 1200 2. Z900RS 3. XSR900 The Speed Twin and Z900RS are true retro bikes....the XSR looks more like a neo-retro.

Well done models comparison so far. Thank you. Not everyone has a chance to test all of them, so for especially riders who is taller then 180 cm, it'd be good to see "detailed comparison" with body positions and max lean angle in safe. All of the tech specs are looks same but GA is limited to 167km/h. B is limited to 200 km/h and GTL doesn't have speed limitations. In terms of body positioning, it'd be better to compare with GW and GSAs. Would very happy to see that. Cheers.

I own both. The GS and RT file their respective classes. I’ve done touring and off road on the GS and lots of touring on the RT. If you have no plans to ride off road, the RT is superior due to its weather protection and entertainment system. However, if I was faced with having to pick only 1, I would chose the GS.

I suspect that the K1600 range,is now reaching the end of its production life, hence no further radical improvements to the cruise control and no improvements to the phone compartment or connectivity. There’s still no other direct competitor for the K1600 GT.Its still the best long distance sports tourer. Having owned two of them, it’ll be interesting what BMW replaces it with. Thanks for the content.

This is a comment 10 years after this video , I have a 2023 Duke 890R bur just bought a month ago a 2015 Superduke 1290R The Beast , well first of all I can tell you it's a very civilised beast and I was expecting something wat was almost to much but it is'nt . It is very smooth if you can control your throttle and with T.C. on it's a very easy ride and even with T.C. off and in sport mode (that's the most aggressive mode you can put it on) it's still not really a beast but a very powerful and lovely bike to ride , my Duke 890R in track mode with AWM off and slip to 1 is much more aggressive but if you look at your speedo the 1290 is much faster , it just doesn't feel that way . But that's the great thing about the 1290R it's really smooth , only that you alway's have to put the T.C. off again after you shut the engine down is ....

I bought a Z900RS and loving it. XSR looks like a retro in an alternative universe though I assume it is great to ride. I had my share of never ending electronic components problem on my previous Triumph, I wouldn’t consider again.

Would like both the speed twin and z900rs but got to sell my 3rd gen MT09 1st, Looking for a more chilled ride, cp3 is dull when cruising but comes alive when thrashed, i will ride both but i think i would get bored with the zs inline 4 whereas the triumph could be my keeper.

Do not agree on the XSR being a retro. What part of the bike looks retro...? Headlight, Gas Tank, Engine, seat, shape, riding position...? None. It could be the best performing, more capable bike, but it ain't no retro at all. On contrast, both the Triumph and Z900 are beautifully designed retro bikes that resemble their own ancestors from the 70's. Both great all around bikes, good looking, great sound, and awesome ride. I personally got the Speed Twin as I found its design and proportions flawless. The Z900 sits too tall and that huge gap between the rear wheel and the fender makes it look weird - or too modern, in my opinion. Same with the extra wide radiator... if it was not for those two things, Kawasaki would have hit the nail in the center.

well, nice review, but I'm a bit surprised that you found brakes to be bad.. I currently have 2023 H2 SX SE, I've put about 6kkm on it at this moment and those brakes are insanely good in my opinion.. with only one finger I can easily send rear wheel into the air yet they are still not sketchy and will not scare you with some insane first bite like some other bikes tend to.. but maybe someone just like that and it is that first strong bite, that you are missing.. also with this bike kawasaki finally managed to tune their ABS to not be as paranoid as in previous models like Z1000SX..
