You put all the opposing starters on a board…KC’s offense vs Eagles D, and then Eagles offense vs KC’s D. All I see is mismatches for KC in every position. Kelce’s stats this year are pretty lackluster. He only had 2 x 100 yard games. He’s far from the Travis Kelce of old. Even Mahomes in play action or scrambling (4.8 in 40) is going to be chased by the likes of DE Nolan Smith (4.3 in 40), so I just don’t see any Chiefs advantage (this isn’t the Bills defense). The only KC advantage is experience, clutch play, and the refs. The Eagles are just stacked at every position, and QBs aren’t battling each other directly so why compare QBs (see what they are facing instead). So unless the Chiefs can keep it to under 7 into the fourth, it’s pretty one sided. I 100% predict some ticky tak 4th quarter penalties so the refs can complete their obligations to the league. If Mahomes suddenly goes deep in the 4th quarter (after short passes all game) a swiftly can buy my seats next year. More than anything I just want to see a clean, fairly called game.

You also omit one thing. We had 10x worse team with 29 and 32nd pass and run defense in 23 during regular season. Eagles pooorly coached poorly designed offense. I can’t disagree more ,with the linebacker take . Oren Burks has been phenomenal since nakobe dean went down for the season . Zach baun has been the best linebacker in the nfl , and a dpoy candidate . Oren has a 83.0 grade on pff ! Just barely outside the top 10 , but he’s one of the best linebackers in the league at stuffing the run , is a sure tackler , and seems to bat a ton of balls down . His only issue , is coverage - which I suspect the chiefs will try to exploit with Kelce . If I’m Vic Fangio , I’m shadowing Kelce with cooper DeJean all game . If anything I’d say the linebackers are a wash, but those linebackers for the chiefs are giving up 150 a game on the ground to James cook , and Joe mixon - much weaker ground games than what the eagles are bringing or New Orleans . One thing to remember also , the last two times Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes have faced off /jalen outplayed Patrick . He outplayed him in the superbowl , and he outplayed him last season when the eagles went into arrowhead and won with a much worse , dysfunctional team .
