Viveran which were caffeine pills came in glass pill bottles similar to coricidan bottles they stopped making them also anyone know where you can get them

Like so many who've commented here, I love your presentation, Don! : just the facts, ma'm, and lots of them, great licks as examples and zero pretense. An oasis in the desert of presenters. Also, spot-on descriptions of the amp sounds, for example, "very naked, clean Fendery sound"-- thanks :)

You know you have a good amp under you, when you forget about the amp while you’re playing,, this is the second “test” that I recorded, and both of them I got lost in the playing… and forgot all about the amp,, that’s when you know it’s doing its job,

It happens to me once in a while when I play certain things,, and then start thinking of life stuff while I’m playing,, during that song, I teared up several times , couldn’t control it..

No HB ...but the P 90s have such a thick sound, you put a little overdrive or distortion on them and they sound like anything you want..!!

Hi Don, just checking back in. I bought one of these 10 years ago used based on your review and one other (David Gilmour style). I have been gigging this thing all over and still get compliments on my guitar tone every night. Over the years I did change the tubes and swapped speaker to a Ragin Cajun for about 5db more beef. She is just a great little workhorse. I found she takes either TS9 or OCD really well into Ch1 but Ch2 is best to dial in the voice you want with nothing in front. Voices I use often- Ch1- Blackface Deluxe Reverb- Doobies, SRV, Mayer 3- hi gain Tweed- Brian May, Santana 6- Vox Top Boost- Beatles, U2, Gilmour 8- Plexi- Jimi, Clapton I own several other more expensive amps but this one still goes to most of the local gigs. For large outdoor stages I do bring a Mesa. If the SC got lost, stolen, or caught fire one night, I would find another one. Cheers!

To my vulgarian ears there is kind of an ambient slide sound which can be achieved by almost any gear, especially with papas little helpers from pedal land. And there is tone, sweet even when dirty and distinct like Ben Websters at any level. When Derek Trucks talks about his journey into pitch and in particular about control it is like revelation, which does not help my grizzly touch though. Thankyou 😊
