I was the engineer on this version. The band came in to the with no actual plan as to what they were doing... This was worked out, jammed, recorded and mixed all in the same day.. (a very long one i might add) with. Jim Abbiss was the producer... was a really great session and we were gutted as it's release got blocked at the time.. this is the first time i've heard it since we recorded it... glad to see it out...

Most composers either romanticize the space or depict it as a horrible place to be, only John Barry threads that narrow pathway of depicting both beauty and danger of space at the same time.
