Hi Paulo, i just came from your "Connect Quad Cortex to your iPad (quick tutorial)". Sorry to bother again haha. This video is also extremely useful!! Wanted to ask you, in the second scenario you talk about, you get your sound from 4 different processed lines in QC to the iPad and loopy pro via USB, so you can process as much as you can inside the app. But my question is, how do you send each individual channel to the sound guy? I would love to be able to do the same and send everything separated, like Voice 1, Voice 2, Guitar and looped samples for example. Do you need another audio interface with enough outputs coming out from the ipad? Im so sorry to bother with such a long comment, but I hope you can clarify this for me. Thank you so so much!
@PaoloMarelliGuitar9 күн бұрын
In my case I'm my own sound guy, so I do all my mixing in Loopy Pro. But the QC has 4 separate outputs (the 2 main XLRs and the 2 FX loop outputs) they are all balanced and you can assign them separately in Loopy and do exactly what you are asking

I am setting up an duo at the moment, and thinking about the best way to make the performance sonically richer by using simple backing tracks. But with that I am only able to use IEM (cause of the click, the intro, etc.). Would love to her back from you! Cheers!

@@HappyDays-l7l I think that the movement using a normal kick pedal is a little different as you don’t have to overextend your foot as much. With a stomp box you kinda have to overextend, for me having something under the heel to get level with the edge of the stomp box helps, but I purposely avoid having more than 3 song in a row in which I play it otherwise I get tired and it hurts (I always play standing up live). @@emersonmann4821 Glad the tip worked. The cable is a normal 5 pin MIDI cable and goes from the MIDI OUT port of the MC6 to the MIDI IN of the HX Stomp. In the MIDI setting of the HX Stomp, you need to set USB MIDI and MIDI through on and that will allow the messages from the MC6 to the iPad

Ciao! GRAZIE
@PaoloMarelliGuitar3 ай бұрын
@gianfrancosalvio74403 ай бұрын
@PaoloMarelliGuitar3 ай бұрын

Just bought the STB1 on your recommendation, a bit disappointed as the button is very sensitive to the position of your foot, you have to work pretty hard to make sure you hit it actively the same way each time or the volume is drastically different. Obviously can’t comment on whether the other two are better for this but we warned, I’m not that impressed with the STB1.

Position is quite important on all the stomps I talked about, like any other instrument they need some technique.
