I'm not trying to bust your bubble with being all african, but these dna test don't always tell the whole truth. Many of my relatives dna test said they were 100 percent European but their y chromosome said his lineage is African.

I’m super happy for you! In did my 23andMe test and discovered I’m 87 percent African (Liberian and Nigerian mostly). I wish my African percentage was higher lol. I want to dig deeper and find which tribe I’m from so I order the African Ancestry DNA and Myheritage DNA test kits today. My Paternal haplogroup is E-M191 and my maternal Haplogroup is L2A1F. I cant wait to discover the tribe I am from cuz like you, I’m going there!

how effortlessly this describes being a woman in her early 20's, comparing herself, binging, anxiety, all captured up to create a relatable message about the importance of close friendships. I especially loved the use of the music in adding to the viewers anticipation of the next scene. Subscribing for more!

It's been 5 years and YT put this in my recommended. I posted back then too. I was wondering if your family was from SC or GA? Do you have Gullah Geechee roots in the USA? I'm still envious of you, because of slavery, I'm only 52% African.

@@truth9415 DATS because you don't know what copper or red is, dats because you don't know or have any connection with your ancestry in America... Africa is indeed beautiful, BUT y'all keep standing up for African without knowing DAT the Africans are indians too, they're just different tribes from us in America.... QUESTION -- How do you and other African Americans allow white people to tell us our history? You guys will listen to white men and you guys will reach across to motha Africa and give them all the praise ALL WHILE IGNORING THE REAL DESCENDANTS OF THE RED RACE?

most black americans have indigenous American dna, people are just detsched from their culture, due tribes being forced west od the Mississippi. Regardless we are intertwined with them, they helped us free ourselves, and taught us how to live on this land.

You should visit Ghana you will love it... visit Ivory Coast too, its a French speaking country and its similar to Ghana is so many ways... If your DNA results show as Ivory Coast/Ghana, it means you are an Akan. Akan tribe is a large family with sub groups in it. The Ashantis are arguably the largest and most prominent subgroup in the Akan tribe. Other sub groups are the Kwahus, Fantis, Akuapims, Akyem,... Akans make up about 50% the population of Ghana and about 30% the population of Ivory Coast.

8:40 to be fair, you can be a fully black person from Cuba or Brazil. I totally understand what you mean in regards to the fetishizing of picking EXCLUSIVELY mixed woman, but you could want to be with a black person just as dark as dark can come from places in Brazil (especially considering there are double the population of blk folk there than that of the USA). Edit: this is no hate in any way and I absolutely loved this video, it was just a lil point I wanted to make lol

Keep digging sis, because before the Europeans came these areas were called something different Remove the artificial barriers. Cameroon was France land . And Guinea and Nigeria Belong to the English. We're talking about colonization, people being ruled in their own land.

Thanks for sharing your story ;-) Now you have your DNA results there are many more analyses you can do with your DNA data. For example, you can get a diet report from DNA Power, or find an online date using DNA Romance,... the list of possible genetic analyses is very long. Welcome to your genome :-)
