Hello, first of all, thank you for this useful video and secondly, I had a question about SMITHSONITE, that in the laboratory they pour acid on this mineral and then pour the second solution on the same part and the mineral turns red in that part. Can you please tell me what these solutions are and why they cause this color?❤❤❤

Assuming the world is "round" (a sphere), and that sun-rays are parallel means, that you have to prove these assumptions first, before assuming anything from these assumptions! You cannot prove anything from unproven assumptions! You failed to prove the circumference of your imaginary globe, because of the fail of proving the globe even exist! A sad case of indoctrination!

At local apparent noon the shadow cast by the Sun is at its shortest. In Syene the Sun casts no shadow at LAN, in Alexandria you would measure the shadow every few minutes before and after LAN. The shortest shadow is the one you would use to calculate the angle.

If you understand trigonometry, measure the length of the shadow, measure the length of the object causing a shadow. Divide those two then that will be the tangent of the angle. If you do not understand trigonometry, draw a smaller scale triangle and measure the angle with a protractor.

hi there! I’m using a pretty similar design to the second one in that i have a mass holder (I 3d printed) sliding down the main PVC tube acting as a piston. The issue is, it just doesn’t fire the ball near far enough (maybe a m or two?) I think it’s because there is friction, so I am going to grease everything up, but how different in size was the mass thing vs the inner diameter of the pvc? i think mine is getting caught on the wall and slowing down so the ball doesn’t really fire much at all!
