The main difference between the Evo Sl and Adios 9 besides the stack, is the foam - evo sl has the pro 3 foam, adios 9 new pro 4 foam. Plus the upper which is similar to the pro 4.

Three things: 1) Fun interview and I like Kofuzi's new fastest women's youtube marathoner competition 2) Happy the Forever Run was mentioned. Love that shoe. 3) What a time for running history. I'm a newer runner and have enjoyed reading about past marathoners like Bill Rodgers , Frank Shorter, etc. And to have so much access to interviews of today's world class marathoners and to follow various youtube series documenting their training is just so cool.

I constantly go back and forth on how much I want to interview the pros. I thoroughly enjoy these conversations, but the closer I get to what legacy media does, the more friction I experience. It's exhausting. So at this point I think I'm going to confine my interview requests to those athletes who have competed in races that I've personally attended. And I do plan on interviewing other non-pro runners.

A new deviate elite already? I'm intrigued. Loved the fast r 2 as well but I hope the next one drops weight

it feels really soon for another Deviate Elite to be coming out, but I do think Sara was saying that this would be a spring timeframe, so it still won't be a while I think. I personally have not heard anything about that update

The PacePro on Garmin watches for races is so underrated or u known by people. Works especially well in a race like Chicago when the GPS can be wonky early. Will tell you how above or behind you are your target and bases it on where you are along the planned course.

One of your avid 'better late then never' viewers here , I plan to do Valencia next year too (will see if I can do the half for the superhalf series ) , My wife was worried after the devistation they have had this last week but I think any income we can generate for the area is a bonus . Scully has his coaching platform, started his own clothing range and is training for a winter Marathon. Re Birthdates does not get any better .. when I was born.. no one had landed on the Moon yet, the Tet offensive had just started and the Beetle's were still formed 😝
@KofuziRunClub18 күн бұрын
I've only recently started hearing concern about whether Valencia will be able to go forward, which I thought was strange. I hope that Valencia can get whatever it needs most, whether that means to host the marathon or not.

I bought the hm2 and I like it. I use it sparingly while I’m getting over some plantar fasciitis. I tried on the H2 and I think overall it’s a more comfortable shoe. The HM2 needs to get rid of the plate or put a softer layer of foam on top of the plate to make it feel a little softer in the forefoot

I can't believe you could be THAT mean to Frank Lara! without some sort of rationale...As a Fordy club runner its such a real shame about Tim Grose vids, I love his analysis videos but I feel he should have got some consent off the guys he was r/v. I presumed he had. Because TG is pretty old school in his view that everyone races their marathons. Which Im of that school. I can't afford to enter a race without going all in. But obviously if your a modern YT like Ben Parkes or a Fordy that needs to be entering races and not so happy with where your at performance wise I can see why you would take offense to a purely objective/strava based analysis of your approach without taking a more holistic perspective of the whole marathon goal. Tim has given himself alot of work, but its interesting viewing. Tim does a very interesting informative chart of parkruns in the uk. But Fordy Runs has been an amazing experience overall for myself. Great Chicago video btw really enjoyed it having done it in 22 & 23.

I’ve been running in these for about 4 weeks …started off good… but I think I might weigh too much for the foam part lol I’m 260. I had to to break them in the first couple weeks. That plate was really stiff but it’s better now. Show feels light but I’m my steps feel hard when I run at times.
