The magical part is swimming with all kinds of creatures including black tipped sharks - We did this in 2017 with my young teenagers and they awed. It grows appreciation and respect in young people. I am terrified of sharks and yet I snorkled with them and learned peace. We also viewed turtles laying eggs under our cabin from a distance and we did not want to disturb them, but the unity of Heron with Nature is amazing. Cannot wait to do it again one day.

I’m actually looking to stay in Melbourne during my birthday next year and I had no clue how expensive Melbourne can be! I’ve been there once but only for a day or 2 so the rates didn’t creep up on me much. I’ve been contemplating the Causeway 353 or the Howey. Your video really helped me out!

Great video. Sadly when I did this tour we only travelled to Lynchford then back, due to track maintenance. It was disappointing not seeing the more spectacular part of the journey.

There is another waterfall just upstream from the main one as the river falls into a narrow gorge and then flows unseen until it exits the crevasse into the open. Been there, done that some 63 years ago.

For average walkers it's about right with 4 hours return - for gym junkies with decent fitness, you'd be able to do it in almost half the time. I managed to do it in 2 hrs and 20 mins a few days ago with one 2 minute stop.

New terminal down Corio near Geelong is in a industrial area ,, No public transport for Foot passengers Its a Very Exceptionally poor layout.,, I miss the Melbourne terminal
