The best KZbin channel I love. Excellent sound quality and harmonious performance. I listen to this performance several times. Cheers to everyone who created this channel. I found Sol Gabetta through this channel. Since then, I search for her performances and records.

I liked the recorder for a while, I tried to learn how to play Greensleves on it as it was a song we used to practice singing for music class.

Fantastic pianist! Cellist is obviously amazing, too. But the piano part is written in a way that makes it hard to sound so light and balanced with the cello. He deserves a special shout out! 👏

Energetic and passionate Brahms. In particular I enjoyed the vigorous interpretation of the agitato that yet remained expressive. It often feels sugary sweet but Veit Hertenstein gave it full drive and precision adding a unity to the fullness of the overall interpretation. I was spellbound, totally involved and carried along and wished I could have been present to hear it live. Which is not meant to belittle the excellent recording.

I used to practice trying to play the recorder for hours and drove my neighbour's up the wall. But the time came when i truly played beautiful... I could make the recorder sing... And was overjoyed when my neighbour who complained at my practicing finally smiled at my playing... I realized then that my years of mastering this instrument was 'worth the while.'

This Quartet was on the first Mozart chamber music cassette that I ever bought, when I was about eighteen (I am now 53). I haven’t listened to a recording for years, and now I’m wondering why not?? What a lovely performance 👏🏻👏🏻.👍 to the players as well!

In classical music a “French horn” is typically referred to as just Horn.

First movement is too fast. Sounds frenetic, and sometimes sloppy ensemble. Erratic balance in the ensemble too. They are all marvellous players. Cellos and bass are real chamber musicians.

Danke!!!!
