Chopin: «Piano Brilliante» / Yulianna Avdeeva

Yulianna is such a gift to the musical world, after decades of hearing these pieces I feel like each one is being rediscovered when I hear her play it. There are so many little melodic details in the bass and the center parts which she brings out beautifully. In addition, there's a wonderful modesty to how she dresses and carries herself, it's all about the music.

Magnificent in all aspects of the performance and production. Yulianna is such a wonderful gift to humankind. Passion, precision, power with great sensitivity. I was privileged to have seen her perform at Costa Mesa, California (May 2024). One of the best performances I have ever seen.

I was working while just letting KZbin stream anything by its algorithm. 5 minutes later, I tried to focus on my work just thinking that the pianist -- who I don't know -- is quite well. 10 minutes later, I had to stop working to check the pianist's name. Then I just enjoyed her magic with putting my works away. Thank you so much, Yulianna Avdeeva and Hochrhein Musikfestival.

This playing is great because of its restraint. Art should lure its audience into experience, not impose the interpreter's experience. (This is a fine paradox, since Avdeeva, like all artists, interprets. She only seems to avoid interpretation in favor of natural, unforced expression, and that's a great art.) I think that her greatest gift is the ability to invite us into the music. She is suggestive, tender, graceful, natural, and subtle, and she has a poetic soul. Thus, her playing fires the imagination.

Das ist Klavierkunst in höchster Vollendung. An 1300 Klicks nach gut 2 Monaten sieht man sehr gut, daß die sogenannten "Klasikfreunde" lieber einer Buniatishvilli in den Ausschnitt und einer Wang lieber auf den kurzen "Las Vegas" Rock glotzen. Die Musikbonzen wissen schon sehr genau, wen sie vermarkten können. Die kultivierte, intelligente und charmante Zurückhaltung einer reizenden Yuliana Avdeeva ist sicher nicht so leicht zu komerzialisieren. Mir soll es egal sein, Yuliana Avdeeva ganz offensichtlich auch, denn besser ist Klavier spielen nicht möglich und das ist keine Geschmacksache. Vielen Dank fürs hochladen.👋👋👋👋👋
